    You can use the wetek play directly out of the box once you set up the intial stages, like your IP, scan your sat ,etc,,,just like any other box
    What Honcho has explained is that it is so diversatile that it´s capablities of handling other systems outdoes most other android boxes..
    if you want to get the most out of the box rather than just watch m3u streams......
    As you can see the support is 100% which is progressive which hopefully sort out the glitches/bugs in each system..
    Reading up about it is far quicker than asking about it.....

    Why don´t you read up on previous threads asking the same questions¿??
    An idea would be to lend your box to your sister say over the weekend and see how she gets on with it....
    Glitching is usually down to a poorly set up server apart from the obvious infamous cards...

    vu+ Solo2 if you don´t want to pay for the DUO2,,which in my opinion is not expensive considering it´s capabilities..
    Lastly please try keep your posts within one same thread rather than doubling posts...

    The box will always start on a set service channel, not previously viewed > Bring up the channel list by pressing the up button on the remote > highlight the channel you want to set as startup > press menu button > set as startup service..

    Again a little reminder that TS panel and OE images generally aren´t the most compatible....
    A good idea is to always make a FULL backup of the image you have working at the moment
    in case things go wrong ;)

    That´s what the searchbar top right is for buddy...
    when you cannot find something straight away , you type in key words in the searchbar and anything related will show up..
    Glad to hear you got it sorted !!

    I suggested this earlier in post #37 but if it turns out to be a clone it will brick the box...
    I suggest you get in contact with the seller if you got it secondhand and ask which image was on it previously..

    If it does turn out to be a clone then do NOT TRY WHAT I SUGGESTED about the original image as it will more than likely brick your box....
    We do not support vu+ clones here as you know from reading the rules...

    DCC is the alternative to Filezilla,, nonetheless I´d forgotten you´re on mac....
    Dont give up just yet buddy...
    Try this last image ,,its an original image from VU+ factory :

    BTW-- how long since you bought the solo2 ?? Is it still under guarantee?
    Might be some hardware faulty....but as I say dont give up yet....
    try ,try again..... we all come across hiccoughs along the way
    but there´s always somebody ready to give a helping hand to those who persevere..

    read the full thread fo any other little niggles resolved...
    Try using DCC ( in the DCC folder on windows ,you´ll see DCC.ini file, right mouse to edit,,you´ll see the password there)
    Have you got the LNB /dish cable connected to tuner 1 ???
    Is your dish correctly set up??
    just asking all this to eliminate possibilities..
