if youve got a recent backup of your image ,,
reflash that back on from the backup menu.. -
unplugging the box from the mains socket overnight to allow a discharge might help...
Try flashing with a ready made backup see if it helps.. -

If you managed that far youre doing well.
if it´s on starting gui then press on to a scanned channel then full restart the box.
It should start up on that channel and clearingthe starting gui logo. -
Typical unlock would be 0000 but it could be any combination.
Where did you get the image from? is there no info about the setting up in the same post?? -

After following all steps to the letter ..
a folder named vuplus containing another folder named solo2 which contains:Codekernel_cfe_auto.bin reboot.update root_cfe_auto.bin splash_cfe_auto.bin
and its still not being accepted by the solo2
sounds like youre going to have to reflash fully.....
perhaps the 2.1.7 wont accept backups from the older 2.1.1....
but you could try it once you have a working image on the box.. -
not sure how to do that
it all worked perfect this afternoon with a earlier image then flashed with this one put same settings as before, and only 28degress works on scrambed channels
and only fta channels on other sats
will have a bit more mess with it

What emu are you using ???
whichever it is , press BLUE on r.c. and you can use <- or -> arrows to start whichever oscam or CCam..etc..
then press OK and it should autostart/restart.. -
FTP vuplus folder On to your desktop.
This should contain inside another folder named solo2.
This is the folder you should have on your usb stick to reflash..
Follow the usual flashing procedure. -
Another thought .... Have you got oscam and/or CCcam running????
I presume you have if you can view with your local card...
Strange then that you cannot access your peers..
Have you checked that they are all online ?? -
The update might have eliminated your channel settings ..
Can you access through menu??
Can you access FTP and/or TELNET ??
try and restore your recent backup .. -
If FTA channels are viewable then its down to your setup bud.
nobody else seems to have reported anything similar..
Hopefully another solo2 user who has this backup installed can give more info... -
perfect image,i installed my oscam config wivh works ok on 28 degrees
as soon as i switch satellites there is no picture on any of the scrambed channels, free ones are ok on all satellites
any ideasYou obviously havent got access to those subscriptions..either by local card or shares..

which error are you gettting bud ??
Perhaps a reflash of the image would be quickest to resolve...
BTW-- it´s KodiDirekt plugin... or are you referring to the xbmc launcher?? -

I am trying to set up VU+ Solo2 as the server as you did which seem to be simple using Backhole 2.x but my problem is that the channel list that supposed to be created in directory /media/hdd/tuner is not generated when the Tuner Server is enable.
Any idea about what is happening?

The bouquet lists you choose to stream are in your client box..
You set up the REMOTE CHANNEL STREAM CONVERTER in your client box not your server box...
press yellow->set server IP-> fill in all details-> use address:OK -> tick whichever bouquets you want to install in your CLIENT box...
restart your box then you will find the server-tuner list at the end of the main list. -
Have you got a video of the receiver itself with remote control?
Id like to see the picture and channel change....does it work from kodi or has it got its own seperate player.
Is it easy to use for the normal joe?

It is a very straightforward box.
DTV player is independent of any other app like kodi ,showbox, etc...
Channel changing is instant, channel bouquet sorting/organising is not... ( I havent bothered as I use the <A-Z> list)
Kodi is still on 14.2.
communication with box is via telnet not FTP.
It is not opensource..
original r.c. unit is standard but very flimsy.
But you can buy as option an airmouse/keyboard r.c unit which I personally prefer to use. -
