Another tip which is pretty obvious is that Madeira being of Portuguese language, most of your neighbours will have their dishes pointing towards 30ºW...
in settings make sure you have LNB: ON
Open the box on a strong frequency, i.e: Hispasat 1E @ 30 west 11810 V 27500 CNN Int
leave it open on this channel, now simply move the dish to the general direction of 30ºW.
Once you get a signal, move from up/down very slowly to tweak the signal ot its strongest point.
lock the dish then try other frequencies/channels...
look down at the very bottom of this page for similar threads.
That is if you haven´t already tried the searchbar top right ..
Is it a local card? which version of oscam/CCcam are you using ?
Which reciever are you using with the local card server and for client?

Hmm I still cant find my movie channels, scanned where catseye said, 0 found
changed 5/6 to auto
what's this about they changed their name? what are they called now ?maybe there somewhere else in the bouquet and i have to move them from catseye list in dreamset
If you have recently scanned over a settings list then you will find any new channels at the very end of the list.
you say your search came up with 0,, if you are that desperate to have them back now ,then I suggest you do a FULL sat scan...
I´m sure Catseye is on the case as we post btw ;)
oscam_1.20-rev-10775-oe2.0.rar is for latest BH images..
Again the name xbmc has been long gone...

there is a way of setting up emu for certian sats out there check out blisskeys for example to get you started :)

I have couple problems.
First EPG works only on some channels. On some is showing no current epg available.
2. My catseye channel list for uk works only in parts. All sky movie SD channels showing Service not found. Not SID in PAT.
3. Very poor choice of oscams. How can I add normal 1.20 unstable, or some oscam 1078 for example. If I go for Linuxsat-support addons there just 2 of them. Should change atributs on all files in oscam config folder forr 755, becouse right now all are 600, but they works perfectly with BH 2,1,4 beckup. Just changed to get XMBC, and now I dont have anythinh ;/

1. Not all channels give a full 7 day epg download.
2. If you were to read up about yesterday´s changes ( 16.06.2015) on Uk movie channels
and notice latest Catseye´s list is dated 15.06.2015 this would be obvious.
You can easily rescan the frequency in question( it has been posted elsewhere)
3. poor choice of Oscams? I doubt if any team backup would have such a thing..
besides it wouldn´t take you long to install whichever is your preferred version.
A perfect solution to all your problems would be to start from a fresh image and set it up to your liking,
then you could upload the backup of it for others to use..
You could simply rescan the sat instead of expecting ---

I would also check if it was a local blackout then you might want to look at your house insurance....

how do you know the line is OK if the connection to it is being refused¿?
Have you seen the line work in another box?
Have you only got the one Cline to connect to or are other lines connecting?
The more info you give the more help you may recieve.
Are you getting a red light or any sign of life from the box on the screen?
is it a genuine original box?
Can you communicate with it by FTP or TELNET??
If it starts up but not show anything on the screen then reflash it with a backup image..
you could also try autobouquets.
Dreambox edit or Dreamset has the options also I recall..
or in manual scan set the FEC to auto for the HD channel frequencies.
Either install a channel settings list or scan the sat.
try mapping it to media/hdd/movie
Instead of GEEKYKIT it should have titled CHEEKYGIT...
