there must have been something amiss with either the version you were trying with or an incompatibility with another plugin or somehting.
I have updated from 9 to 9.3 online no problem with BH 2.1.5 and its working fine..

You can try this IPK version... but I reckon you should find it on the openatv feeds if any..

Which image/version have you reflashed to ??
have you configured crossepg with storage device etc ?
Have you got a usb stick or hdd mounted?
I´m using version 0.8.1 and no problem..
You can either check in the image feeds or from our Addons plugin => plugins-epg and you´ll find it there..
make sure you do a full reboot of box after...

Dont know this box but I also noticed constant "working" on xbmc repositories but opens/loads on kodi no bother..
Have you tried leaving it on an FTA live channel and trying?
Can you update/overwrite to KODI ??

I have catseye settings and the 1-5 are in the sports bouquet near end of the list..
What do you mean by selecting these??
try sports 4 + 5... 3 comes on later..

Are you sure you fully uninstalled the previous addon??
otherwise it wont allow you to overwrite.
In telnet :

rm -f -r /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions/tspanel_9.3_mipsel

or

rm -f -r /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions/tspanel_9.3_mips32el

then ftp the ipk over to the /tmp folder.
telnet:

opkg install -force-overwrite /tmp/enigma2-plugin-extensions-tspanel_9.3_mipsel.ipk

or whichever version your image accepts..
full reboot of box after.

menu -> backup menu -> you will see three options.
BH FULL backup
BH personal backup
BH epg backup.
I suggest making both a FULL back up and also a personal backup.
you will then find them in a folder named vu backup and/or persoanl backup bh5 ,
either in media/hdd or media/usb depending on what you have mounted

You are then using e2 plugin kodiDirect and not full kodi...
Livetv on kodi direct has options of livetv at the end of the list => "get more"=>live tv and tv shows.
press Ok and you will see top ofthe list => allinone.( bbcplayer,itv, rte, israeltv,etc...
Press OK and then restart gui..
but this has nothing to do with KOdi /Live tv addon on any other apparatus..

Cant see anywhere else apart from timezone to change the time.
press menu-go down the list and see INFORMATION-about to see image version.

which stb are you using?

Is it a genuine original vu+ duo?
Which image are you trying to flash with ?
Are you following the correct procedure of how to flash??
All of this is in the VU+ how to tutorials...
You see, with the little info you give ,,the less precise the answer and conjures up more questions.

Are you sure you tried all the optional settings in cooltvguide??
open the plugin, Green then top line :RED BUTTON(epg select) => change to whichever option you want..
press Yellow, TV and you´ll seemore options of how to start tvguide..
then PRESS RED BUTTON TO SAVE ...
and restart box
