Maybe it was never fully installed and that´s why you cannot see it there nor seen any benefit from it..
¿ can you see it inside your plugins folder on the box ??
how do you know it was installed in the first place?

no mate, never did this before on a box so il need to go search a tut on how to do it.
If you can find your way to etc/tuxbox folder or wherever it is on tm500,and update/change sat.xml file
to get an uptodate sat.xml got to the latest e1 channel settings ( for example catseye) and install using dreambox edit or dreamset.. -
If your list all come from the same IP source well then simply the IP has changed so all would crash...
You could either uninstall then reinstall them ..
logfiles are usually found in var/volatile/ or media/hdd -
Reflash the box with the image again..might have messed up first time..
OPentv works perfectly for 28.xºE... depending on which channel you are on..
Where are you mapping the epg.dat to?? internal, external,usb,hdd ??

I think SAT HD is being referred to here bud,, not paying some cable "portal"..
btw you never answered my question in your previous posts( you know what I mean ? ) -
To be able to view D+ you need a dish pointing to either 19.2º East or 30ºWest whereas to view UK you need a dish pointing at 28.2ºEast..
So no it´s not possible from the UK sat dish unless the dish was big and had an extension arm with an extra LNB..
An alternative would be to look for an IPTV list and add it to the channel list.. -
You could open dmz server. Sly's Sagem router doesnt support port forwarding and neither do ***. Their infinity hub does tho ;-)
DMZ leaves EVERYTHING open for EVERYBODY to wander into.. deffo not recommended.. -
your phone wouldn´t have access either if it were a country IP ban.....
I suggest you check your firewall and antivirus settings for access....
Have you encountered any problems to enter any other UK server site??

I imagine you have taken into account that a secondhand box wouldn´t carry any guarantee( or that its the "real "genuine stb)

sounds like its not accepting the usb stick..try a different one.. or reformat the stick ..
also make sure no other usb ports have anything plugged in..
make sure you have unrared the folder so that you only have one folder named vuplus(containing the necessary files) on the stick that you want to flash.. -
Some cards work better in different setups/image versions/emulator protocols...
the diff erence between the images is usually the route paths (where each file is placed) -
BH 2.1.1 is the image you have installed..
From here you and only you decide which emulator protocol you want to use for your card ,etc..
You decide which plugins you want to use..
My suggestion is install our addons panel then everything will be at hand for whatever you want:
[DOWNLOAD] Linuxsat-Support-Addons
you install this like any other IPK..
FTP to var/volatile/temp folder then on remote control press green - yellow -> manually install IPk packages..
fully restart the box afterwards.
From our addons you are spoilt for choice.. -

Not knowing which box nor image you are using ,but using TSpanel you can uninstall any previous versions.
Or manually uninstall it.
Restart box .
Install whichever version you choose..
