Why does anyone share through Oscam instead of the more secure Cccam?

Recently I put a friends card in my server as his wasn't updating. It was due to run out at midnight and never Recieved any emms. For 20 mins after midnight I kept receiving ecms from the card and found it quite strange then it suddenly stopped. End of card.

Today I rebooted my server and noticed its clock is 20mins slow which would explain the card still receiving ecms after the cut off, so what if I stopped all updates and set the clock to 2011, would this work?

How else would the card know what time or date it is?

Try updating through Cccam with f lines that have nothin but a username and password.

i.e F: user password

This is how I update and usually from a box at a different location. It has no restrictions and I believe this is key to updating it.

My uk care updates in Oscam ok but recently I noticed where I had 21 entitlements I now have 20? I've checked all the important channels and don't think I have lost any but just strange?

I had 19 before I added Bt sport then it added 2 so maybe it could be one of those?

yea ping is 40ms and 8meg so shouldnt be a problem

Installed a ***box f5s and its constantly glitching. It can't be the server as its never done it before and there's only 10 on it? I tried the box in a different place and it works fine so must be the broadband.

Its connected via Ethernet cable so I reckon its the broadband. It's with O2 and the router is old as hell. What can I do?

i have updated my uno to vix 3.0 711. everything is working great except when i try to install cccam rom from .ipk?

Isn't that a form of csp using cache?

lots of channels have changed and im now tring to change manually to the correct transponder etc. after i update the channels in dbox edit, i save the file then i upload them to the vu duo and reboot but its still stuck on the old transponder even the update file in dbox edit is different?
