    Theyre simply sending engineers out to do "disconnects" which they do simply by walking up to the Cable from Ground to F Splitter Box at your home and sticking a -50 or -100dB attenuator on the line/signal and if they think youre a risky type; they snip the actual cable at your Tee; but they pull it out a little and snip it so it appears to be OK on your quick inspection or they remove and re-insert your connected line at the Hub/Green Node into the Null F Shelf:


    Best way around it is to remove and then add your own or place the clean address cables tags on yours and insert into the correct F Box from the main cable to the Nodes with someone you know who pays: (Which is on a sheet behind the Node Door)


    ALL Red Tags are Paid and Internet enabled and Orange are disconnected and green are to be "re-examined" for Leaks or possible "signal theft" (Current colours coded here)

    As for now: That wire is very similar if not RG-6 cable: So treat it as such:


    You simply make sure the TWO ends (THE COPPER ONLY ARE TOUCHING)


    To do this for a quick fix; you need to make sure the single core wire; the copper or inner / conductor (0.81 to 1.25 mm usually in diameter) are touching with no foreign or the actual local cables construction materials in the way:


    So where its snapped; use a blade and strip of the the jacket; the shield and braid; so none of that is touching the inner copper:


    But just cut the excess of long enough so you can twist each disconnected end into the shape of an Q or noose while intertwining each one / end Q before you do so: Making the join strong enough so that when you pull them; as if to pull them apart the two ends Q+Q now meet each other in a noose like environment:


    Now put some tension on each side of the "bridge" apply some decent masking tape: Make sure the tension on the cable is akin to having two or three bricks on each side and you should have a perfect or close to perfect signal:


    To do a permanent fix you simply go to the TEE and pull it up as though it were vandalized and ring VM and complain that your bandwidth has been alternating or dropping out (Since the day you snapped it)

    Because they will have a view-able record or a logfile of your loss / gain dB SIgnal which stops pinging or registering when you have snapped a wire; on purpose or by mistake; when ringing them, to make it more authentic; you demand a loss of service payment which gets taken of your next bill and NO ONE gets hurt: And you just got a Contractor an extra few quid for himself:



    For those of you that have no VM Tee; or multiple cut offs or are barred or cannot get a VM signal; simply buy some decent RG-6 and F connectors and use the VM Tee in from that "seemingly empty house" your neighbor sometimes resides in: Or piggy back from the actual network by lifting the ground covers which they use every 50 or 100 foot and join onto that:

    Or ask the neighbors can you share or go half whack on VM broad band: I know a few people who do both of these and more:

    OK...WHO HERE HAS ATTEMPTED TO READ A ROM180 anytime EVER? The rev doesnt matter at this time.....


    From my understanding, and "testing" The only difference in the Rom180 and Rom11 is the 8 - or is UTF08 and the Data Extraction is exactly the same...One difference, the ROM 180 is not in the NagraEdit db.
    Solution: Find out what Language was used to Write NagraEdt stuff and edit it to at least say ROM180Mer000 ID Ok. Then we can talk about spoofing the Rom and its Revs?


    BUT. Running at 3.58 Pheonix Mode ALL will always returns a Valid 16 byte ATR. The BoxKey (or Magic Number) is still for sure located at the exact same address, and the IRD is not a problem and never was as was the case on The Rom11s, which by the way were only glitchable we were saying back then, but R11B08s could be opened via Nipper Login-Backdoor Busters on a program that had to run in Win98 environment... VB runtimes etc, all the same thing as the need to change is only applied when someone wishes to tests extensions.

    I meant Registered Service Provider (I.E Rupert Murdocks Empire). I guess I should have wrote what I meant LOL. As all this really does in comparison to the old but effective Infinty USB Phoenix is allow you change ossicalltion from 3.58-3.68 through from 4.58- 6.00- 8.00- 9.60- 10.00- 12.00Mhz


    If youre using it for the obvious why not get one from WB Electronics UK or cheaper from Ebay or similar.
