    A simple Dreambox 500s clone could be the solution.


    Tones of images plugins addons and support in general,can be easily found.


    Of course this generation of boxes is outdated now days,but if something like this is what he is looking for,it`s a fair and cheap solution.

    I`m not familiar with this version but i guess it`s all the same so please do the following.
    You say you downloaded the iso file.
    Next you have to burn a dvd from the iso file.
    Then you have to boot your computer from this dvd and install it.

    Another way,provided that your box has the default user name and password is this one
    Connect via telnet to your box and type the command ps -a
    You will get a list of running process,so you can see if CCcam is in the list meaning it`s running

    Your installed image is excellent,so in order to solve this issue i advise you to install tspanel and using this you can installed your cams

  • No channels showing at all

    Take a look if your have your diseq sets ok in case you have an active setup for this.

    As already been answered you can certainly do that.I just want to add some note that can help you in case you want to block completely the access to it.
    For this reason i copy paste for you a part of the default config file that comes with CCcam packs...



    As you can see you can enable for example one or both of the commands...


    #ALLOW TELNETINFO: no
    #ALLOW WEBINFO: no


    ...by removing the # in the begining of the line.Doing so you block the access.

  • Help needed with getting Mgcamd running on AR-P Enigma2 image

    OK now it`s clear.Maybe then try to change the cam as i mentioned before and even better the image of your box in case you have this option.
    Your mgcam configuration looks ok to me so i`m out of other ideas at the momment.

    If it is a single sattelites.xml file,meaning you want to update the present file already in your box with updated frequencies,just use DCC or whatever ftp client and transfer the new file to /etc/tuxbox (if your box is DM800 as i see in your signature)Next you have to make a scan to update your received channels.
    We usually use Dreamboxedit to transfer full packs with channels favorites etc ( its a directory that we first load to dreamboxedit program and next we transfer it to our box.The file sattelites.xml is of course included in it.


    PS At the moment i was writing master g already advised you.

    My suggestion in installing Mgcam was for faster performance.
    Of course it works via CCcam also.

  • DM800SE Connecting to newcamd server


    Please introduce yourself first Forum Gateway - Powered by DnP Firewall and then install mgcamd in your box.Then put your Nline in there,i think it will work.

  • CSP explained for profiles,users,connectors


    1.profiles.........................This is the part where you state the provider ident the port for that specific provider etc


    2.users...........................This is the part where you state who is connected to your csp and to which profiles


    3.connectors...................This is the part where you state your sources ( servers etc ) that feed your csp



    how to configure the three for a linux server?..........Inside the csp pack there is an excellent help file,please read that.



    cache and multics are two different things,first one is let`s call it a temp memory,second one is a protocol let`s say cccam but it`s not that simple is more complicated cause is a mix of different protocols all together in one pack.

    You can also read your card with CCcam.
    Download it and install it using your image.
    Notice that you will need to add extra.url for nemesis image in order to do that.

    First of all test with CCcamInfo if CCcam is running,and you are connected to your server.

  • How do we know if we have a estar sim or not ??

    Usually there is a sticker in the bottom side of the box stating the sim version.Another way to find out is if you switch on the box by holding the on off button or the channel up button.This will stop booting and take you to a state from where you can flash the box.A message will also appear in your display with sim version.
