go to menu and find net config, and you have to via remote, you can then select them cam you want, mgcamd is best for cable

anyone know how I can scan cable channels on this, I have active cable line, but no cable receiver at moment, hence getting this to get freeview cable channels which I heard you can. is it still going with 6889 etc search and scan

hmmm, i have already reflashed it, think by reflashing image, that might resolve the initalisation issue

am on bh 1.79 image, should i try another image from scratch then

when i press blue button times 2 go to device manager and get a green screen error and box reboots

when i try to initialise hdd from menu/system/setup/harddrive, i get error same as the opening post

any ideas guys

seems to be sorted, installed blackhole 1.79 and all seems ok again
will let it run as it for now, then possibly upgrade bh image

as advised my sisters box and she has no idea how to install stuff on it etc..
i know crossepg was setup recently, so could be that, but as i cant even access box as it keeps rebooting, shall i just start from scratch and install original BH image, then tspanel and get the cams etc

My sister has a vu duo box original box with 1tb HDD installed (used), it was ourchased with blackhole 1.79 installed and was working ok, but was replaced with the Backup image by master G (bH2.0.5 image) on here. and was working fine.

this morning when she went to switch the box on, got the boot screens, but then green screen saying sorry software and rebooted and keeps looping now reboots and then green screen

am i better to reflash the box back to bh 1.79 and work from there.

as it is an original does it need to have the latest bootloader installed??

first time with these boxes, so trying to get a grip with it

it reflashing it with original image the best bet first, then installing channel lists, cccams etc seperately

please advise best way to go forward

got the backup blackhole image 2.05 on my duo, and 1tb internal hdd, when i switch the box off by the mains, the following day i have to initiate the hdd again, any ideas why this is

can a blackhole image be run on a venton hd2 unit, prefer bH images

i want to be able to see 7 day epg for both 192. and 28.2 sats.
how do i run this on cross epg so it does this, or is this not possible for 2 sats

right ideally need one with a internal hdd fitted already, so can strech to £250.00 for a twin tuner box with a 500gb or 1tb internall hdd prefitted

any recommendations now, are vu duos still good boxes

My sisters partner is looking for a dual tuner box, therefore can use 1 tuner on 19.2 and another on 28.2. also needs to record 1 channel and watch another, so am asuming if recording something on 19.2 can watch anything on 28.2, am i correct, is this what dual tuner does???

i get it free via bt employee service, so not sure if hooked up stright away. defo not clearing for me at moment anyway, so cant tell if it has been switched on or not, thats the problem, but if oscam is required then will need to change setup to see if swithed on or not

so a server which has only cccam will clear bt sports. the cccam file has the boxkey in it
however nothing clearing on mates end maybe they have not switched me on yet. lol
but if oscam is required then need to setup the server with this config etc, so it clears for everyone

will btsport only clear in a oscam/cccam server or will it also on a cccam only server
