First of all, I do not understand if you understand the principles of PurE2 Device Manager...
PurE2 has Automount by default, like any other image, so it will mount the devices/partitions somehow....
But it also has the option to disable the Automount function. Then, it will not mount devices/partitions, unless you do it manually.
I described in detail how this is done... Then, it will be as you set it up - permanently! And I recommend that!
You can now take it from there, I believe....
Look here, all the links to the relevant threads on this forum are right here, post no. 8 in this "General PurE2 Setup" thread!!!
"There is no need to struggle with PurE2 image in any way whatsoever! :bulb:

If you do not give us all the relevant details - how can we help you?
OK, I just installed the latest image, from scratch, just for you....
On my OSmio+4K and Kodi does work but only partially - no image! Streaming or playback!
I tried with everything I had: ServiceApp > original, Exteplayer3 and GSTplayer - always the same result > no image, only sound.
The rest seems OK....
My guess is they (Edision guys) somehow messed up the drivers for it... Not sure...
No. No one can. How could we possibly?
Shall we throw some chicken bones and use our crystal ball to figure it out? Based on what can we say something like that?
I mean, honestly....
Why do you ask? Just have fun - try and tell... ;)
Then, I'll edit the tutorial again, so it's 100% correct...:cool1:
Go on, you know you want to.... :)
Don't change the skin, as I have written many times - chances are the full functionality won't be there, if you change Estuary, esp. with FNC plugins....
Inside the skin you can change a lot - colours, size of fonts and so on.... Plus in E2 settings, also....
It is very malleable! Try it: MENU > MENU and have a go, you have 3 pages of options....
No need for that!
At the moment they are all using a compatibility layer. That adds to the size of E2 and slower response of the STB. Not good!
A real move to Python 3 won't happen for months, from what I have been told, ergo no hurry!
At the moment many, many plugins have not been redone for P3!
The bugs in E2 and plugins will probably take months to fix.
So, chill... Bigger numbers do NOT always mean "better"!
Early takers - bigger headaches, in this case!
Try and tell...
OK, since I been asked and so I tried helping but I do not have the rec, so somebody who actually does have the STB, correct this, please....
For people whose box neither power button at the back nor Standby button in front:
- download the Viper PurE2 v. 6.5 image to your PC > viper4kv20-PurE2-6.5-20201115_mmc.zip
- unzip the archive to the / (root) folder of a compatible FAT32 formatted USB memory stick
- rename the "noforce" folder into "force" and hit Enter button on your keyboard
- properly unmount the USB stick from your PC (right click on USB stick > Eject command, wait to see the message "...safe...")
- switch-off your Viper by taking the power cable out
- put the USB stick in the Viper
- switch it on and immediately press the "Standby" button on your Remote Control Unit (RCU)
OR
- press the green button on the remote control several times, until the word "UPDATE" appears on the decoder display
- wait until you see "Done" message
- switch-off your Viper by taking the power cable out and remove the USB stick
- switch-on your Viper
- configure your Viper as per your requirements!
Zgemma H7 sekciji (moj zakucani niz poruka oko toga).
I do not have the box but let me try and clarify something for people whose box differs from the images above (neither power button at the back nor Standby button in front):
- download the Viper PurE2 v. 6.5 image to your PC > viper4kv20-PurE2-6.5-20201116_mmc.zip

Zasto pitas? Sta ti nije jasno u onome sto ti je taek-kwon-do vec napisao? Evo, za svaki slucaj, pokusat cu malo pojasniti, iako nemam tu kutiju:

I think the worst thing to do when starting with PurE2 is to expect it to be like any other image, Estuary to be the same as any other skin, FNC plugins like all other plugins and everything to be the same - even though this is a very different image, skin, plugins and so on!
PurE2, Estuary, FNC plugins etc. - this is all very UNIQUE!!! So, learn about it first, open your mind and heart!
You might love the outcome, once you learn about its advantages and specificities....
Don't run back to the "safety blanket" of "how things used to be"...
Novelty can be exciting and sometimes way better, IF....
To me, all other images, more or less, are the same...
PurE2 is different! And better in a lot of ways!
Check it....
P.S. I am putting this here, just for reference, to have it somewhere safe, to point to, when more attacks ensue... From our devs:
"Regarding PurE2 being closed source, it is a somewhat complicated story, actually it is not that 'closed' but OK.
On the one hand, Enigma2 itself (as a program, not the whole system) is not that dramatic or interesting, more or less it is all the same, but some other things like very low-level (drivers or similar) or very high-level (skins, plugins) are proprietary.
On the other hand, we really contributed a lot to OE-A and Open Source community, either with build systems (SH4 and ARM), drivers and complete stuff from scratch/"zero ground" (Wetek), some misc stuff for HiSilicon or AMLogic (again from zero). They seem to ignore that, but I guess that is OK... :)
Funny thing is that we are not paid for that (or, very often, even mentioned) but that is OK as well.
I hope we can continue to make some users happy."
Btw, for the most boxes, on average, there are more than 90-100 packages that are new/updated/dependent, so it might be a good idea to re-flash anything older than 14.11.2020, just to be on the safe side...
Then again, if you're lazy, simple SW update might work just fine (if not, just do on-line re-flash).
Delfi says:
V. 6.5 (soon v. 6.3):
-Finally fixed WiFi AP (Access Point --> turns you box to another WiFi server station, see more at HERE) for Ustym 4K PRO.
- feeds, ch lists (vhannibal, morpheus), youtube, autochconverter, etc....
- gstreamer, ffmpeg, kodi
- misc stuff
As we do not have time to try simple SW update for all the boxes (it might work on some boxes, on others NOT), standard SNAFU with settings backup and reflash is suggested for images later than 14.11.2020.
P.S. It seems that Franc is preparing some new goodies... :)
Ha wants to remove it.
IPTV Player > MENU > settings bit where you switch ON a part of it or OFF.... Simple!
