You need to be a little bit more attentive and careful! Learn, read about PurE2 FIRST!!!

Estuary is the most malleable skin, generally speaking! For instance, for volume you have 3 options!!!!

Conclusion: do NOT change Estuary, as your FNC plugins might not work fully!!!

Read CAREFULLY the STICKIES, BEFORE YOU START CHANGING STUFF, the STICKIES are there for a reason!!!

If you do change Estuary I shan't be able to help you, sorry....

How to make our Estuary full HD skin do as you please...

Kodi is present in the list under "Blue button", usually....

Don't rush to change Estuary to whatever you knew before! :)

From my experience it is well worth to give PurE2 default a good go, in good faith.... ;)

One can learn quickly, on the one hand. On the other hand, I find PurE2 default advantageous! I.e. it was done carefully!

One can change the sequence in menus to alphabetical and whatnot but I think this is not quite "it"... Try it for a few days and see....

My speed is up to 70Mbsec, usually around 65.... No encryption!

This result is with OpenVPN encyption - I am in London - via Milan SurfShark server, in an old laptop, dual core processor...

I'll try to put it into my STB and test....

You have some of the answers in my pdf file - how to deal with Surfshark and VPN Manager... TCP or UDP is answered there. I am concerned that you are asking that question. Did you do it as I wrote in my pdf?

    Post 65: [Plugin] VPN Manager

So, read it carefully and do it as you read it, slowly but surely!

The speed can not be that low! There is something wrong in what you write!

Use IKEv2 on your laptop/PC! Not OpenVPN, which slows down your machine. Now they also introduced WireGuard, stating it is faster than OpenVPN. You can also try that, in their Windows (or Android?) app.

However, use OpenVPN in E2. We can not use anything else in E2 at the moment.

You must do it right, though! No shortcuts, you have to do it exactly as I wrote! Be disciplined and do not improvise!

Do NOT put it BOTH in your modem AND in your STB with E2. One or the other - not both!

I advocate controlling each machine separetely, NOT everything through the modem!

Modems are usually NOT well suited for OpenVPN, they do not have the firepower for it, most of the time....

Come back wth specific details - bot NOT until you have done it EXACTLY as I described....

One thing I can not help you with is your local Italian Sufrshark servers. That is down to Surfshark and you. You must speak to them about the speed of those servers. If they are too busy - they will be slow....

So, use OTHER servers! I use the Belgium server sometimes.... If that helps.... ;)

    Depends - I don't know your:

    Internet provider

    Speed of your connection

Your HW (modem/router) and its SW

    VPN provider

    Package you have with them

    Status of their servers

How you set it up (UDP or TCP)

    etc.

You have to investigate all that and see which element(s) you can improve...

    Good luck!

Seekbar still does not work here (Zgemma H7 tested now) - but SnackBar does.

Seekbar Mod from our feeds (Plugins > green button > Extensions) also doesn't work, it seems to me....

Anyone else or was I just too tired at this wee hour?

Put your modem into a modem mode.

Add your router and put VPN details into the router, which should be powerful to deal with OpenVPN encyption (AES-NI).

You have my guide for the STB - modify a little as indicated.... Do not continue in this thread, as this is not about that, please!

MENU > Plugins > MENU > make Languages ACTIVE and restart E2. Then, you will be able to see/install additional languages.

MENU > Setup > System > Language > download and restart STB.

I don't think you need any messing with RAM and ROM.

If you already installed FNC plugins you need - look, you are using only 51% of your ROM.

RAM also seems fine as things stand, as you have about a third free...
