Sorry, m8 - it was nothing of consequence, hence a little latitude...:rasta2bigsmoke0gf1:
On the other hand, we do that (tolerate non-English) with many, many Italians outside the Italian section all the time... ![]()

Recovery is not what is needed, if you have native multiboot working fine. Why do you push in a pig-headed manner, if it isn't working?
Logically, if it isn't working one way and you have 2 types of files - use the other one!
So, use one of these USB files for your box: http://www.pur-e2.club/OU/images/index.php?dir=6.5/edision/
Learn the difference between RECOVERY and USB files here: Flash your Zgemma H7x using RECOVERY and/or USB files
RECOVERY procedure (using *_recovery_emmc.zip files, which are in a special folder on PurE2 download page) should normally be done very, very rarely and only when absolutely needed:
1) when you have issues accessing the MULTIBOOT MENU or
2) if there is an essential update to these files.
This is needed to avoid conflicts between images, as the partition layout (bootargs) is of huge importance.
A small change can destroy all your installed images.
So better not to install it, unless it's really needed.
================================================================================
USB files are used for normal flashing of an E2 image into one of the already existing partitions.
For instance, it looks like this: osmio4k-PurE2-6.5-20200707_usb.zip => this is to flash an image to one of the partitions...
If you are just flashing an E2 and you are keeping everything else in the flash intact, then you only need the latter (usb) file!
ahmed gazye - I installed 2-3 last night.... olm and yify, I think.... Not working now?
satelittv - vpn is needed!
You get FFmpeg when you install FNC Plugins, together with Media Player2, SubSupport and ServiceApp/ExtePlayer3/GSTplayer.
Try that and see then... ;)
Meshung sa E2iPlayerom, mozda?
What have you got installed extra, please?
You needn't have installed it - there is one already in the image...
Reinstall everything from scratch. When done it's in Setup/Settings > RC/Keyboard, if memory serves... ;)
Good luck!
v 6.5
- Filme-fnc und Serien-fnc updated
- gstreamer new version
- some plugins refreshed
Soon for v 6.3 and v6.2 as well....
Delfi says:
AX61 - updated drivers
Zgemma H9x/H9.2X - updated drivers
i55Plus - updated drivers
Also, with higher temperatures be sure to set (where available)
Menu->System->CPU Control
Scaling governor to "conservative" or "on demand"!
Restartaj sve ili reinstaliraj od nule...
Explain in some detail, please?
Delfi/tromo says:
- some E2 code updates
- feeds
- plugins
- OpenWebif
- Dinobot (axas, anadol, etc) drivers updated
- AX60/61/Muktibox drivers update (sadly motor/rotor on 61 still seems off)
- ffmpeg new version 4.3.x
- gstreamer update.
- reduced image footprint (in some cases 25-30MB)
- probably more....
Note: some mipsels and sh4 in 6.5 are not up to date until we fix some drama specific for the older stuff. Work in progress...
In STBs with E2 and Kodi, YT keys can be entered in this Kodi addon here:
/media/hdd/.kodi/addons/plugin.video.youtube/resources/lib
File: youtube_authentication.py in lines 98 - 100... ;)
Well, I never went specifically for deactivating one part of combined Cable/Terrestrial tuner. I just chose the one I want and it was automatic - one is activated, the other one is not working/stopped...
So, now I went to the Edision + model, which is "combo" and I checked - you are right! One should, indeed, choose "DVB-C NOTHING CONNECTED" and then DVB-T2 set to ENABLED!
Well done, I will inform my coders of this possible frack-up... :)
Indeed but letters do not work when in Menu of an FNC plugin, for instance - but it is working in Kodi, for instance...
It comes up automatically, when one presses OK, for instance, to enter a username or a password.
Still, even though all the main, general functions work - letters do not, sadly... yet... ;)
