All my boxes, except Edision and + version (Brdcm drivers), can play avi container... And some can play DVDs fabulously... etc.

H7 can play the most, of all of them, whatever I have/had...

    ...and more elsewhere...:cool1:

Well, I was the first... :)

My setup includes T90 with 11 LNBs and another smaller dish with 1 more LNB. All included, 14 satellite positions are needed in my list. I delete all satellites I do not need, then I must delete all the unused bouquets and markers, plus channels which are surplus to requirements... As follows...

    Press the satellites icon:

    linuxsat-support.com/cms/attachment/143435/

Choose satellites to delete (hold CTRL button on your keyboard to choose all):

    Confirm:

Now, one only has those one needs:

    f81e58c5042fe098145b230d.jpg

Now, markers of satellites which are not used are to be removed, to de-clutter the list (Delete empty, of course):

Once cleaned, it will look like this:

    9056bb6566d526a1d86674.jpg

    Then, bouquets are next:

Sadly, these are not removed during removal of satellites, so one has to go through all general favourites to remove them all:

Cleaned up, it looks like this:

Then, I move whole groups of channels about, inside Favourites, to put them where I need them to be:

Simple drag and drop, up and down works just fine...

Then, Save as > make a new folder where to save it...

Installing E-Channeliser portable version and opening a settings/channels list...

Choose your language and what version you want to install:

Choose a folder to install it to (I have a DATA partition and this stuff goes there):

This is what it looks like, after you have chosen the folder and you're about to click on "Install":

    Installation done!

Choose your preferences, as in lingo, colours, see if it found the VLC installed (for streaming via the E-Channeliser) etc.

Search your network (button in the middle), 'cause it will cleverly find your Enigma2 boxes:

Choose which one you want to connect to:

Now, open a list of channels you want to upload to your STB and perhaps edit...

Of course, if you already have a good one in your STB you can read it from the STB and edit, then put back in your STB...

Follow up coming, as I keep discovering its capabilities and methods... :)

    Delfi says:

Well, after some pause, there are updates for v 6.3:

    - Pretty standard stuff like feeds, youtube, ch settings, etc.

    - Alas, for some HiSil boxes like SF8008/Viper4K... there is a new partitioning scheme for internal flash. To enable this (if not done already with some other image), one needs to reflash via USB with Recovery Image!

Actually, this new partitioning scheme is not bad as it leaves free space according to how many Multiboot images one installs. In other words, 2 images in the flash take less space than 4, etc.

Micro SD mount as HDD is preserved, but probably, one would prosper a bit if the whole mSD card is reformatted/partitioned into a single ext4 partition. YMMV.
