Please, do not think of my post as disrespectful to you in any way. This is about Marusys. Period.

They attacked DMM because they wanted to close the code for E2.

Then, they did the same with XBMC4STB. Even us, a Team that they asked to help, got sweet f#*& all from them. What does that look like, m8? Trust? Openness towards the community they depend on? They wanted us to help but tied both our hands behind our backs and blindfolded us, while trying to deal with already outdated HW and their seriously twisted SW for Ruby. How is this building trust, how is this respectful? I even offered to sign NDAs and all - and guess what was their answer... They would rather f*&%# over many users who bought the box than to do the right thing!

Sorry, they also took community's code (XBMC) and tried marrying it to another community code (E2) - and DMM tried to stop them there. They fought it. I supported their fight against DMM. Then, they turn 180 degrees and in a heartbeat do the same - corporate BS!

Now, if you still want to defend them blindly, that's up to you, of course. I am not a tribal man. sorry... I see something that's wrong - I say so. My own Team sometimes goes nuts with me but that's me... I think critically and I stand for what I believe in... Unless I am shown a better option/interpretation. I go by rational arguments, not tribal bias...

If you mean if all 4 images can use the same place/folder for recording, timeshift (the same HDD folders), plus all the other bits, like EPG, picons and so on (on USB stick) - YES! That was implied in the previous post(s), sure. I also use USB stick for backup settings file, as indicated...

Moreover, all 4 Kodis, from all 4 images, will use the same "hidden" Kodi HDD folder for all its stuff and so once you install one image and Kodi in it, when you install the next image, Kodi will have been ready to go as soon you install it, all its plugins, settings etc. will be there for you! Very neat!

Mount rescue? You mean a full backup images storage? Why not, if it's big enough?

Read my post here in the Stickies on how to backup and restore...

Nothing bad about the remote! NOTHING! If my wife is not bitching:head banger: you shouldn't either...:laugh1::party-time::rasta2bigsmoke0gf1::hello

There is no mistake with remote control unit (RCU) of any kind. Working fine here. I really do not see what the problem is with pointing RCU at the STB, quite frankly... Change the batteries... Better rechargeable ones (fully charged Eneloop by Panasonic) or non-rechargeable ones and peace.

Find my post re. flashing of various kinds (you're spoilt for choice, really!) in Zgemma H9 section. You can do whatever you want...

I always plug in HDD and USB stick. Why? See my post in this section "How to mount devices and structure PurE2". EPG, subtitles, picons etc. go to USB stick.

OpenVPN folder one restores from one's laptop (FileZilla Client FTP, drag-and-drop), just like config file for OSCam Emu Ccache or KUD file or YouTube.key file or fnc_olm_config.cfg file or....

    Your PurE2 will purr...:laugh1::rasta2bigsmoke0gf1::thank_you2::don-t_mention:

No idea, I'm not a coder, you're not using PurE2, it's DBB - which I do not have and quite frankly I hate - which might need special format for plugins, so.... sorry...

Then, you didn't do it carefully... Go back and finish it properly.

Select Other give it a Name (use the same name as we did before) and click Create

You will now see a box with your Client ID and Secret. Copy both and add to the text file where we saved the API key before

    Good luck!

Then, you did not do as you were supposed to do and hence maybe it actually works, even in old OpenPLi?

7-zip is freeware and it should be able to handle compressed files....

But why do you need it? Here's the procedure:

    1) Create your API, as described.

    2) Install the ipk manually.

    3) Edit the key file.

    4) Restart!

    Done!
