Btw, when I tested various skins I noticed it is better not to delete Estuary, as other skins will use some of the common libs...
I know, sometimes this happens, as we don't have these boxes... Sorry, I can't help you there, probably Delfi can but even he hasn't got the box, so...
And you know the kind of gargantuan struggle it is to get one.... I needn't explain...
But perhaps you succeed, given you have one?
Best of luck!!! :)

If you have the time, you're free to do a new skin... Our skinner is otherwise engaged and frankly it is NOT needed!
DTS depends on HW/drivers/codecs, not the skin, me (a non-techie) would say...
For instance, if you have a receiver that can handle DD/DTS - it is working at my end. Some files (concerts I have) work through a receiver (DTS downmix ==> OFF) and some files (MKV, Billy Idol in Chicago) work either way (OFF or ON)...
Mind, not in every file, for whatever reason, i.e. one would need to find out exactly which codec is involved etc.... Some of my concerts were DTS and working (Clapton "One more car, one more rider") but others are not. And some others not only do they not work but do not even show an audio channel at all (Beyoncee "Tonight I'm yours" or whatever the title, I got it only for testing purposes). I presume it is something else, not the skin!
I just tested it for hours, just for you... Zgemma H7, btw...
Picture in Graphics (PiG) setup
"Channel preview" means PiG (Picture in Graphics) - that option we do not have in PurE2's Estuary skin, other than transparency set to about 50% or so in MENU > Plugins > Estuary config...
You can try with another skin - but I do not know if ALL PurE2 specific functions will work with other skins (FNC plugins in particular)...
PiG will be found in:
MENU > Plugins > green button to download more stuff > Skins > choose a skin like
-AX_Blue_FHD_4ATV or
-Aeon_FHD or
-PLi-FullHD), then
change the skin in User Interface > Skin... or
pManager > Video/OSD/Skin > Change skin > confirm the suggested action, to restart E2.
When PurE2 restarts, you must go to:
MENU > Setup > System > Channel Selection settings >
Channel list preview = yes +
Channel list show Mini TV > Yes >
green button to save and then
Exit to go to
Standby menu to
Restart E2.
DO NOT REMOVE THE DEFAULT PURE2 ESTUARY SKIN, as some of its libs will be used by other skins!!!
One needs to know one's needs first...
For full FNC plugins compatibility Estuary, the default skin, is always the best bet!
If one has some needs that can not be catered for by Estuary, then maybe: How to get PiG/Channel preview in channel list?
Coders alerted... ;)
Delfi: "Dinobot based boxes (Anadol, Axas, Izibox...) received driver update said to improve AV sync, streaming, stalker, etc. It seemed ok to me even before this :) "
In PurE2, just to clarify, most of the time (depending on the STB), one gets FFmpeg, Service App and Exteplayer3 etc. at least with some of the FNCplugins, as in "by default" (FFmpeg, for instance, in most STBs comes with the image)...
So, there are no general inferences that can be drawn here, even within the same image, I'm afraid....
Delfi:
"For a history zap, option was added to reverse the list of channels used in recent past.
MENU ---> Setup ---> System ---> Keyboard/RC ---> Button Setup: "History list inverted" entry
Just a reminder;
In the same place you can set "History buttons mode" from default, reasonably fast "service name only" to "Show menu" which includes EPG data. Default setting is more suited for those with a motor or multi LNB dish, as big EPGs (10-20MB epg.dat) can slow down history menu."
Yes, it seems your message is a bit confused...
First you say "they don't work"... and then you say "they work fine"?
So, let's be clear: the FNC plugins that generally work - work fine in all of them!
If drivers are a problem (like with Kodi in some) we usually must wait for the manufacturer to improve them... Moreover, Kodi is demanding and can not work in all boxes...
Some FNC plugins do not work any more but that is to be expected, as the author has changed his life completely - he started anew in another country, another culture, a different language (so much new to learn, to sort out...), as he started a new job, he has no time, no infrastructure....
When he has a bit of time, when his machines are in place etc. - he will get back to his babies... In the meantime, others may fix this or that but generally speaking the author is needed, as these things need maintenance, of course... So, a bit of patience!
And in H7 there is no problem... ;)
Of course, m8! And we take it at face value, no worries... :)
Thanx! :)
:rasta2bigsmoke0gf1: Please, observe the absence of moaning, complaining, bitching, questions if something works or not and so on and on and on, as opposed to all other machines of this kind - it's just the shortest ever section in the history of the hobby!!!! :rasta2bigsmoke0gf1:
