or the 2 receivers on 1 lnb problem
I would disconnect the other receiver and see if the problem goes away.

what it ever determined what processor the d15 uses?
The factory site doesn't go into detail.Another forum site said they use the NT78326 -
that was with just 1 receiver on 1 lnb
-
in the good old days the receivers had a 3prong power cord,so the coax shield was guaranteed to be at earth ground. With the 2 prong power cord the shield is just floating if you have no grounding blocks.
-
if you have an old pc with serial port as a quickie test you could leave the serial port connected to one of the receivers all the time. This would connect the receiver ground to the pc ground, assuming the pc has a 3 prong power cord.
To me it seems to be a problem with the 2 prong power cord receivers and using 2 receivers in different rooms.(some people don't have a grounding block on the coax, which is part of the electrical code in many areas) -
I would make sure you have a coax grounding block on the coax where it comes into the house and ground to a grounding rod or metal cold water pipe.
They make dual grounding blocks for setups with 2 coax cables. The shield on the coax has to be earth ground. -
blade 7000 firmware is bigger and looks totally different.
Different processor maybe? -
zip2006.exe wouldn't decode the v108p firmware,so whomever is hacking it must have better tools.

the old clarke-tech receivers used an .stb format for the firmware so now I know where dr got the idea.

Thanks.
I was playing with ubuntu linux and the wifi causes me hair loss. -
I downloaded the file but lost it.
I tried again today but the connection was so slow it would only download a portion then stop.
Now it says I reached my download limit and I can't download again until tomorrow.
Don't delete the file,I want to download to analyze. -
maybe the chip that does the hdmi got roasted in a power surge when the power came back on.
-
maybe it's the tv,ever think of that?
-
I would load the original firmware,I think it was v101 then do a factory reset
-
maybe you have to do a blindscan instead of using a pre-made channel list
-
there were 3 versions that I know of; the 1st from dec 2011,v2 red gui,and another that was just for s9
-
The .stb file type reminds me of the old coolsat receivers but doesn't use lzma to compress the firmware.
The channel lists for coolsat were .ndf (network database file) the predecessor to the cndf(compressed ndf) -
there is no fix, other than using anonymousx firmware or the previously mentioned alternatives.

I think you answered your own question
-
probably a different format for the d15
the blade may contain too much info?
