I noticed this error when downloading the EPG,
This is not an "error"... It is a warning message. Downloading or importing EPGs is not particularly affected. I will add an alternative option for Python3-based images, which have the 'pycountry' library so that there are no calls to external sources for them.

Coming soon...
Added the ability to sort the order of “groups” in the used playlist using the remote control

If new groups appear in the playlist, they will automatically be added to the list and will be available in bouquets after generation by default

UPDATE
1.4.2
1) Added functionality for sorting the order of “providers” (playlists) using the remote control ("yellow" button in "Providers" menu)
2) Fixed "breakage" of group sorting order when using "mark/unmark" groups in python2-based images
3) Minor changes in skins and localizations

Everyone who downloaded the installation package version 6.7.1 yesterday - download again and reinstall with the --force-reinatall parameter
When building the package, I forgot to include the "exceptiongroup" library, which is why the plugin did not start... My mistake =) please forgive me...

Idea: A new sort for the groups list would be welcome, for example checked groups in the beginning of the list and others in alphabetic order. What do you think about this?
First, I will add the ability to manually (with the remote control) sort the order of providers... or rather, I have already added... Then, perhaps, I will add the same ability to sort groups in their selection menu. But several nuances need to be taken into account when sorting groups.
1) What to expect if the provider deletes a group from the playlist?
2) What to do if the provider adds a new group to the playlist?
-
fter a new batch, another case. A group named [NL] RAKUTEN has been discovered so is checked in the groups list selection. But this group contains 7 channels and these are not displayed as new in the diff-override (not in the sort-override too).
If you mark any groups and then create a sort-override template, then it will be considered “base”... If you later mark some more groups, then they should appear in diff-override and you need to manually move them to "basic" template.
From the point of view of the algorithm, if you already have sort-override, then any new groups (marked by you in the group selection) are considered new (newly appeared) broadcasts

jeepcook, I'll look at the code again. Perhaps when parsing a playlist I remove “extra” spaces at the beginning and end of the name, but when processing XML I don’t... but later... I’ll now complete the rearranging of providers with the remote control... and only then I’ll look at everything else
-
there is a space
This is not SPACE... It's how “something” in unicode is displayed in Enigma2... Open your playlist in any editor on PC that supports unicode characters (emoticons, hands, signs, etc.) and look there
-
&
XML escape characters
I think it’s not a matter of &... you need to look at the playlist file, most likely there may be non-displayable unicode characters in the group name
-
sky1 ,
This link was an example of XMLTV in UTF-8-BOM encoding... What's not working for you? Url-Link from example? Or are XMLTV sources encoded in UTF-8-BOM not being imported? If the first, then what plugin can do with this?

UPDATE
1.4.1
1) A “button” has been added to the group selection menu to mark/unmark all groups. This should be convenient when your playlist contains dozens of groups, and you need to select 1-2-3-4. It is much easier to uncheck everyone and select the ones you need than to uncheck dozens of group names
2) A small change in the logic for selecting groups from the playlist. If there are group-title tags and #EXTGRP directives in the playlist, the values of the group-title tags will have the highest priority and it is according to them that the list of groups for selection will be generated
3) A small change in the regular expression for parsing playlists, which significantly reduces the processing time for huge playlists (more than 100,000+ entries).
4) Minor adjustments in localizations (Greek, Russian)

Is streamlinkproxy able to decode streamlink:// protocol
This is not called a protocol, but a “scheme” by analogy with “http”, “https”, “ftp”, etc. To do this, use my streamlikwrapper plugin or the one found in OpenATV

Already been implemented and will be available in the next version

UPDATE
1.4
1) In the provider’s “card”, the ability to select groups of channels of the playlist used for which bouquets will be created has been added. You simply use the remote control and the "OK" button to turn on/off the necessary/unnecessary groups of channels that are in your playlist. Then save your choice using the "green" button. The channel group selection menu will be available if you turn on the “Channel group filter” in the provider card.
2) The menu item “Import EPG after creating bouquets” has been moved from the "Configure" plugin's menu to the provider card and is applied for each playlist (for those where it is turned on), and not for all at once as was previously
3) Fixed the transition of the selection slider in parent menu items to the first position when returning from child menus for DreamOS-based images.
4) Fixed selection of bouquets update mode (interval/fixed time) for DreamOS-based images in the plugin's "Configure" menu
5) Updated all locales
Enjoy!

Just have to wait this version.
Not long to wait =) ... I'm translating menus and testing new functionality on a py2-based image
-
unselected groups will be in the sort-override
"unchecked" groups will not be included in the sort-override pattern.
I also moved the EPG import setting to the "provider" card and now this is set for each playlist (provider) individually
