  • Oscam and cache levels

    Hi ,

    Can any one please explain what the cache1,cache2 and cache3 that appears in the oscam log really means ?


    I found this on the internet :

    cache2: ECM and checksum in cache already


    and this :

    cache2 just means that a second request for the same channel has been served by oscams cache rather than your card.


    I feel like there is a conflict in these info , so i would like to know what they really mean .

  • OScam emu and conax keys

    Greetings to all , is there any oscam emu version that is working with the Conax Keys in the softcam.key file ?


    because as far as i know that oscam emu only support the following ca systems:


    • Biss 1 (mode 1)
    • Biss 2 (mode 1 and mode CA)
    • Compel
    • Cryptoworks
    • Drecrypt 2
    • Irdeto 2
    • Nagra 2
    • PowerVU
    • Rosscrypt
    • Videoguard
    • Director v4, v5
    • Viaccess v1, v2, v3

    if such version available or any other suggests for this problem please let me know.

  • Oscam Emu and Biss channels

    nothing at all mate the channel appears as FTA channel .


    i have to remind that oscam is not installed directly on stb , it is installed on linux pc .


    What i heard is that biss channels don't send any ecm to oscam ! not even on enigma boxes , so it is the job of oscam to send fake ecm on biss channels to decode it through the emulator .


    a friend told me that it is not possible to send fake ecm on biss channels using cccam protocol , only by using mgcamd . I tried that ,but it didn't work either !


    tried the emu on PowerVu channels and it did fetched the channel info form the stb , but no luck for biss channels .


    Is there a work around for this ?

    i know it appears in reader info in all the lines you mentioned , but i was saying nothing appears from within the oscam live log or when selecting the channels from the stb no caid appear for the channel , that's what i meant .

  • Oscam Emu and Biss channels

    Hi all ,


    I have a vps and i installed oscam emu and snice a year and i have been looking for a way to run biss channels to cccam clients and i tried every possible solution ,but still no luck


    When i select any biss channel on the stb i can't see any info in the user or from emu in the live log (nothing related to caid 2600 appears)


    here is my default emu reader :

  • Oscam and Softcam.key

    Hi ,

    Is there a way to use oscam to share keys from softcam.key file with other users via protocols such as cccam ,mgcamd, newcamd..etc ?


    what I mean that is it possible to make a reader for a softcam.key and then take the keys (such as BISS keys) and share them with other peers and not on my local box ?

  • what does the option failbancount mean in oscam ?

    Hi all ,


    what does the option "failbancount" mean in oscam ? and how does it related to the option "failbantime" , because I set "failbantime = 0" and "failbancount=3" and after 3 failed login attempts the client was not banned , and when I set the "failbantime" to a value greater than 0 the client is banned at the first failed login attempts even though 'failbancount =3" !


    I thought the value in the "failbancount " determines the number of failed login attempts , and after the client IP is banned for the value determined in the "failbantime " ,but I think I'm mistaken


    So what is the use of failbancount ?

    I was trying to understand the basics of reshare so here is what I did (The following is for test purposes only not for performance measures )


    I have Two Multics (multics 1 is R82 HB50 and Multics 2 is R84)

    one Oscam (r11583)


    so in Multics Documentation we have this :

    ## Reshares(DownHops)
F: user1 pass1  # share all profiles with no reshare
F: user2 pass2 1 # share all profiles with 1 reshare
F: user3 pass3 2 # share all profiles with 2 reshare


    now creating a user in the first form will give a cline without reshare and to test this, I will make a user on multics 1 then will ad it to OSCAM as cccam reader (without reshare) :

    Now the reader is connected and the red color means these cards are without reshare right ?!


    now from Oscam i created a user (the user and the reader that was took from multics 1 are isolated in one group) and add it as a cline to Multics 2 ,but Multics 2 can use it without problem and can request ecm from the reader which in turns will redirect the request to multics 1 and get response , is this normal ? because I thought Multics 2 can't !


    so can any body explain the idea of reshare in simple way with examples to know what I'm missing in here ?!

  • CSP Cache from Oscam


    hi friend ,

    for the freeze problem you have to check the multics configuration and the most important part make sure that the sources that feed the multics are all ok and have high ecm ok and low ecm time with no fake dcw , so this is your job to configure your multics unless you test the multics and all ok and the problem only occurs on oscam (that works as proxy) .


    for the cacheEx , as i understood you are taking cacheEx from multics to oscam right !?

    if please can you provide us with a sample of how you create the CacheEx user on multics .

    and another sample of the cacheEx reader (Taken from Multics) on oscam please .

    hi ,

    first of all i don't think it is a good idea to take cache from multics to oscam (unless you have well configured multics with 0 fake dcw )

    if so , i think this is only possible with Multics HB versions not all multics provide this option

    i tested it on multics r84 , not working only from oscam to r84 is ok

    when tested from multics hb 47 all ok in both sides multics sends to oscam and oscam sends to multics without problem .

    anyone ?!

    at least can someone tell me is possible to block the csp cache to specific Ip or not ?

    the thing is i was trying to use it on local Multics and remote multics (on another vps ) , and both connected without problem ,but i was thinking if i want to block the remote Multics from using my csp cache on oscam is that possible !?

    hi all , first sorry if this was not the place for such topic .


    I wanted to send cache from oscam to my multics , so i went to config then cache/cw cycle and in the csp section i setup the port

    and then added a line to multics cache (both multics and oscam on the same server):

    and all worked great without any problem , but still there is a lot of things i don't understand !


    1- It is named as CSP cache , why ?! was it made to exchange cache between oscam and csp originally !? or have some module from csp integrated into oscam or what ?! is there any special features for this type of cache ?!

    2- is this made so that we can exchange with others or just a way to take cache from your oscam to your proxy only ?!

    3- when the csp is working , it appears in the cacheEx tab in oscam , so is there anyway to stop/Block a particular csp instance !?

    note : i didn't use or worked with CSP so forgive my poor knowledge


    4- in the csp cache options above you can see that there is

    csp_serverip                  = 127.0.0.1


    so what is this exactly ?! the ip of the server of oscam (i know this doesn't make a lot of sense and oscam should know the server it is working on already !! ) ?! or it is the ip of the allowed peers or what ?!



    - please guide me through this and again sorry for my poor knowledge .

  • How Can I get DCW

    i think if he could get the ins7e (which i still have problem for getting it for the caid 1709) and the Boxid and put them in the reader and used a line as you said from another one that operate the package and change debug level to 4 you may get the ecw and dcw pair which are used to get the k1 using hashcat i think

    note : the 1709 was working yesterday and he could get such info ,but today off again


    please who have info about this process give us all the needed info .
