I've got everthing running and I use OSCAM instead of CCcam. Works fine with me :-)
Excellent, was it straight forward? what's the speed like with your setup how quick is zapping etc? do you have any documentation you can share that you used? working with your line a treat?, can i ask what tuner you used?

Hi I am also looking into doing the same thing. I have been having a look online at the Live TV functionality of XBMC V12 Frodo. I would quite like to have the ability to use my HTPC as a PVR using a Tuner installed in the PC with the ability to use a CLine/CCCAM.
All i would need to buy is the tuner.
Has anyone done this? Can anyone advise the best backend server and tuner to get? I know alot of people use an E2 box and access through that but id rather just go buy a tuner like this
for speed it would just be better i tihink.

im assuming your using raid config on that beast with 40TB

try dreambox as the password if not that then its just blank no password, its simply the default password of that image. also ensure the ip address is right. otherwise you wont get anywhere.
and as for the quality you shouldnt have any problems once your set up

depends what your trying to connect to, filezilla is a general ftp client.

no you'll be fine. but consider another provider as *** bb sucks if you can get fibre not used copper wire in years

Hi Guys
After recently hearing about all the new changes which could possibly affect my 28.2e share. I have decided that i need to future proof myself. I no the majority of you guys are not to fond of people like me. i only really got into the card sharing community because the amount of chatter i was hearing about free sly.
But just like N*L back in the day, These things happen.
I have been told if i get a proper satellite and motorize it i can get all the Variety im use to with my current share. I know this may involve some foreign card shares etc.
As i said im a total newb at all of this but i like to think i have a level of technical ability i managed to get my boxs up and running with the current share when id read enough.
My question is; can you guys Recommend a setup which will do all the above for as cheap as possible? i currently have a Qbox Mini and a DM800 and a normal sly dish

Problem with DD-wrt Firmware is its rare that you can find it for any ADSL router, only good if your DSL really.
Iv never had a problem forwarding ports on any router really. only problems i have come across with different routers is VPN.

Hello People, me back again and i still dont have this *#!##** stupid box working, i don't know what im doing wrong.
I started from Fresh, installed the latest boot loader and loaded the latest satstation image.
All Free chans are working fine no problem.
Im trying to put my N:line in my radar.cfg but the other chans still not working.
will someone look over my radar.cfg and see what im doing wrong??

Arghhh. Iv had it with this box please please someone help.
Ok so this is what I have done thus far;
1.flashed the qbox with the latest sat station image - this went well and the image booted.
2. Went to addons and installed sgt flip flop - image restarts (I now have my channel listings and freebies working nice.
3. Go back to addons and install radar from the soft cam section - image restarts again. Everything working as it was in step 2.
4.ftp into box and add my nline into the radar.cfg
5. Try a chan which should be encrypted (without rebooting) no luck it didn't work
6. Rebooted box, sat station splash screen appears but I soon enough get a qbox prompt asking for video out settings it normally crashes here and I can't get any further.
So iv sat thinking about it and I'm guessing I need to update the boot loader perhaps?
Then if that works and I actually get into the sat station GUI will my nline in radar.cfg work?

I have successively Flashed my Qbox, Added all the Chanel Lists etc, Freeview are all working perfectly. I added the Radar Plugin.
Can i add my Nline to the Radar.cfg?

Hi guys yes, at this stage I'm only interested in getting the qbox working as a client, iv not tried putting the cline in radar.cfg yet but I will later, fingers crossed that will work too

Im in need of some help, im new to all of this and have a basic of understanding how everything works, i successfully managed to get both my DM800 and Dm800SE working with a (legal) car share.
However I am having trouble getting the Qbox Mini to do the same?
I have the Satstation Image and i believe all the required tools i just lack the knowledge on this hardware and would appreciate if someone could teamview in, set it up for me and hopefully by you doing that i will learn for future reference.
I understand everyone has time constraints because so do i, but any time this weekend will be great :)

I purchased a DM800 SE a few days ago, as soon as it arrived i flashed it with this image "BlackHole-1-7-3-dm800se-ramiMAHER #ssl84b"
Since the flash i tried to configure the wireless on the box, and it doesn't seem to be working, can see the wifi but wont obtain an ip address. through no problem with my other equipment i can assure you.
so using the LAN port instead but any time i select "Network" the box crashes and gives me a green screen? Any idea why?
another issue is i loaded the bouquets via dreambox edit, and when i rebooted the box i saw all the category. however was unable able to tune into any freeview chans.
So i manually used the box to scan for services, it found loads and now i have the freeview ones but in no particular order.Can someone help me here im not sure what i have done wrong,
I have thought perhaps I needed to update satellite.xml before I added the bouquet. which would make sense.
However I still cant explain why 1. the wireless doesn't seem to work and 2. any time i select network from the set-up menu the box crashes.
