    That sounds very similar to the poblem I was having with my Virgin modem. What was you reseting the modem or the router.

    My problem was the modem, I think some one was trying to set up a clone of mine {twat didnt now enough and was on the same gateway as me} when he conected the clone my modem would reboot every 3 to 5 mins. ( it would only happen on a weekend }

    Virgin refused to change my modem, so I finally poured a glass of squash over it so they had to change it.

    Reading up on the differences, I reckon its TCP

    Yea I've been having a debate about it with a few mates in work. I'm still not sure myself.

    As I understand it the only differance is the hand- shaking /checking for errors that TCP does. So the debate is does cccam need the checking (which slows the precess down).

    or maybe its the other way around.

    I've tried both on my server with no noticable change. I've even asked some Telecom engineers and they fail to agree.

    AirPrint Activator is a new tool by Stephan Muhl for those looking to use AirPrint with Windows.

    Just download the one-click tool, install and activate AirPrint for Windows 32bit or 64bit. Then you have to have the printer in System Preferences (printer properties) to share. Already, all printer under Windows 32-bit or Windows 64-bit for IOS 4.2.1 and AirPrint available. Please note Step 3: AirPrint.exe must be enabled in Windows Firewall.

    It writen in German {google translate}

    The tool can be downloaded from :download:

    What vision have you got, I seem to remember that there was a setup utility that needs to be run for initial setup. ( long time ago mind a mate of mine had them in his rented flat)

    I've already updated to 2.2.0, can I just wright the .x86 file with the 2.2.1 one or do I need to redo the other stuff mentioned in the debian tut. [I'm running a stand alone debian server]

    "The Dev-Team updated redsn0w to version 0.9.6b4 today, which, as detailed yesterday, will provide an untethered jailbreak of iOS 4.2.1 for iPhone 3G, older iPhone 3GS, and non-MC iPod touch 2G, and a tethered JB for the iPhone 3GS (new bootrom), iPhone 4, iPad, iPod touch 2G (MC model), iPod touch 3G and the iPod touch 4G. thanks to a combination of pwnage2 exploit, the arm7_go exploit, 24kpwn, and limera1n. For best results, upgrade to iTunes 10.1 first.

    Again, it's very important to note that if you unlock, you cannot use redsn0w as it will update your baseband. So if you're an unlocker, or have a newer iDevice and would just prefer the security of an untethered JB, wait for the PwnageTool update before loading 4.2.1. Even if you are ready (like I was) to take the plunge, make sure you back up your SHSH first."

    I've just done this on an iPad with the 4.2 update and it runs like a dream.

    Warning 1 if you need an unlock dont update to 4.2 at the moment.

    Warning 2 this is a teathered JB on the newer model iPhone and iPad, so if your idevice crashes you will have to conect to a computer to rerun the JB.

    The word is that a unteathered JB is not far away.

    Have you tried the latest version of Media Portal with and the Web epg plugin with the SAF plugin HD is very good.

    I Also use the Streamed skin and you then end up with a very nice looking mc with no limitations. [I download movies and tv series from newservers and only watch live tv for sport]. So Media Protal works for me.
