hey man ,.i just tried to flash this image but when i put in usb key box just starts as normal,as opposed to reading usb,im certain iv it put on right,ie formatted to fat 32 ,vuplus ,duo and in duo i have boot, kernal,root,but no response
make sure you have no usb stick in the back @ the time of flashing , also i am sure you did this but just to say that the usb with the image needs to be put in the front slot .

Best way is to format your usb stick to fat32 then put the usb stick in the the back usb slot. make a "picon" folder in the usb stick with dcc , then transfer your picons into that folder via dcc.
Then goto "setup", "vix", "skin", "settings", choose picon location as "USB/MEDIA", then restart enigma.pretty much the same for other images.
REMEMBER
THE CHANNELS LISTING SETTINGS HAVE TO BE THE SAME AS THE PICONS
example : if you use the Vhannibal E2 settings then use the same picons that way it works perfect.

i am a big fan of EDG MEMESIS , it is a shame the forum has shut down , hence there will be no more updates to this great image. now i shall have to move on really & find another good image . when the time comes i shall try a few & choose then , until that time i shall stick to my present image.
i need some backup of cccam213+oscam for gemmini e1 image dm 500 if enybody have, because my tnt [fun] card didnt work with cccam 221+ oscam as i like.:sad:
if @ the moment you have installed cccam 2.2.1 seperate to oscam then easy solution is uninstall 2.2.1 & install 2.1.3 then connect the two again via the N line . this will not be the case if you've got the 2 emu's as a package ( 2.2.1 + oscam ).
can u delete channels straight from the box ,or do u have to load on a channel edit please?

yes you can delete any channels /folders direct from the box
couple of friends tried it and does not open any premium channels without boxid. Maybe you have a special oscam or something ??
Also what do you class as a premium channel ??

i am running the card internally with no boxid & it is clearing all channels including movies & sports mate. oscam version r4396.
Guli i have helped setup a few sly uk cards recently and all have needed the boxid/boxkey to get the premium channels like movies and sports.
what i am saying is that you don't need the boxid in oscam to watch premium channels , try it .
yes that is right oscam can decrypt premium channels for sly uk without boxid. i am running it for the last 2 days without problems & according to a close source your card will also update. so no problems of cccam debug showing your boxid in your peers box.
so if you have 2 lines you can put one in each of the boxes. is that what you mean

With oscam currently users can take your c line that you have given and put direct to oscam thus bypassing any reshare limits you set. They can then go one step furthur and fake your local with the 256 trick in cccam versions prior to 2.1.4. Nice and easy to use and just some settings to add.
Anticascading.
So if you have a peer who is doing re-sharing/faking do the following:
In your oscam config directory create a file oscam.ac and put in it:

oscam will sample every user for ecm requests for 15 minutes. If a bad, bad guy exceeds the limit oscam will send a fake cw for the next 9 samples. If in userfile you do penalty = 0 the user will not be punished but it will be logged in aclog file. Do not go too tight with the settings as people chnge channels and create additional ecm requests.
Above settings works a treat.

no you will have to go to all satellites & find it there . unless you get a channel list it is a lengthy way this way.you could make your own list aswell , but that will not work with picons , if you wanted to use picons .

I have a open box that has multiple shares, right now im usin shres on the 28.2 satelite. What I wanted to know was that if i decided to use the 19 satellite will I still be able to use the same channel list or will i need to down load a channel list for the specific satellite?

Question: If you have 2 boxes at home. 1 serving as a server and 1 for watching, are there no way of not using 1 hop when sharing in your local network? My reason for the question is that I will loose all the channels that I do not have reshare rights on, and therefore cannot watch these channels unless I use my server for watching tv aswell

you have pretty much answered your question yourself mate. the line you have in your server is hop1 if you give your reshare ( if you have it ) to 2nd box then it would have to be hop2 . unless you get another line & put into your 2nd box , that way you will have hop1 in both boxes.

the edg image is a fantastic image , mind you i don't know if your box is a clone or not & whether the edg image will run on a clone . that you will have to find out mate. i would recommend this image , as i use it on both my vu + duo boxes.
