  • Zgemma H2.S no video on tv, only sound

    Just setup a second H2.S in another room and after setting up the box and switching it on i get the load screen then once the box hit 49 loading picture goes off, box continues to load and once loaded i can get sound but no picture just black screen.


    Tried 3 different boxes on the same tv and same problem so its definitely the TV. Sharp TV connected via HDMI, should also mention this tv works fine with a genuine sly box.

  • vu+ usb turbo dvb-c/t/t2 hybrid tuner configuration on Vu+ Solo2

    I have just purchased the turbo tuner to enable me to have cable hd channels on my vu solo2. Running latest version of openvix Set up the tuner, downloaded the driver from feeds.


    Set up auto bouqets to virgin media uk, area - preston...tried preston 1, preston 2 and preston tdn. Im in blackburn and preston is closest option given. When i start scan i just get the error timeout for tuner lock. Looked on sat finder signal and there isnt any.


    I have set my satelitte tuners to not configured while i sort this tuner out.


    Come out of autobouqets and done a automatic scan and its found 542 channel and all my channels are working including hd.


    Anyone any idea whats going wrong on autobouqets?

  • Zgemma H2.H with Virgin Internet No Virgin TV

    So i currently have a vu solo2 but thinking of switching to a Zgemma H2.H for the HD. I have virgin media internet but my box at the wall only has 1 cable coming out of it which goes straight to my router. How do i connect the Zgemma H2.H and will it work as iv not set up any TV with virgin?


    Also do i connect 1 satellite line from dish and 1 cable line to the H2.H and add a sat sea lion and cable sea lion? Once this is done is functionality on the box same as with a H2.S but just with HD available?

  • RF Modulator sound issue and 2 horizontal lines through screen. Fix???????

    there is a seperate coaxial (white) coming from the aerial on roof so 3 all together coming out of the wall near tv, the 2 other (black) coaxial that was originally going into the old sly box, so 1 is rf inpt and the other is the rf out going upto the loft where i guesse there is a boosted sending feeds into each room?


    the sly box is no longer being used the box is now a vu duo hence why the mod is needed.


    the rf modulator i am using is from maplins and someone in another post said that the modulator may be the problem as some are better than others, i have read that the triax tri link rf modulator is pretty decent and allows the use of magic eyes also so i am going to replace the modulator i have now with a triax tri link rf mod.


    the new setup will be as follows -


    vu duo - scart into triax tri link rf modulator - rf out going upto to booster in loft - tv's upstairs


    providing the setup in the loft is how we think that should work?


    should this setup work even with the current modulator? (minus magic eye function) could the lines across picture and buzzing sound be a sign of another issue?

    Hey,


    So today i have setup a vu duo using a rf modulator (maplins). Got the picture up but on ever channel selected on the modulator im getting 2 horizontal lines move down the screen and white noise sound when sound settings BG and buzzing sound when set otherwise.


    Been manually setting ****ogue channels trying to find a fix but every channel seems the same problem.


    Apart from the lines the picture is good.


    I have 2 rf cables that are go into the wall going upstairs suppliying 4 tvs upstairs, i bought a 4 way amplifier so i could accomodate both rf feeds.


    Is 1 rf a input and another a output? currently both rf wires are plugged into the amplifier so both acting as output could that be the issue?


    Existing rf setup was working fine using sly HD box.


    Checked scart connections all fine.


    Bit stuck wondering if anyone can help me out?

  • Is 1mb upload to slow for transcoding? Vu Solo 2 latest openvix image...

    Hi i have recently tried transcoding to my HTC One 4g from my Vu Solo 2, finally got it working with the following setting on dreamdroid -


    dreamdroid settings
    connection
    *******.dyndns-ip.com - port 8099
    stream
    *******.dyndns-ip.com - live port 8001


    solo2 settings
    openwebif - http port 8099
    transcoding - port 8002, bitrate 400kbitts, framerate 50fps


    forwarded ports - 8099, 8001, 8002 on router.


    download speed 12mb upload speed 1mb


    with these setting i have been able to get transcoding to work to my phone using VLC player but the quality is very poor, the picture is ok but the stream quality is unwatchable due to lagging.


    question is is there anything i can change in my setting to improve the stream quality or is the 1mb upload speed just not enough to use transcoding?


    Mobile is on 4g so that shouldnt be a problem should it?


    all help much appreciated!
