if you start it with the power button held in it will show you in green writing on the tv screen which bootloader it has. Images with the bootloader included are for clones. the newest images will need the newest bootloader. you can find the newest images in the 500 hd original section on here

put the card back in my Sly box and I got a picture on that. I then put the card back in my Duo2,
HOLY CRAP BATMAN, WHY !!!! dont ever do that again unless you want to kill it
-
SEE THIS IS THE PROBLEM. people but these **** boxes not having a clue what to do with them and expect everybody else to sort it out for them. well you know what we all had to learn how to do it and there is still a lot to learn for you so that is what all this stuff is on this excellent site is for
-
is it a 3.5 hdd. disconnect it and see if the problem persists although thats only supposed to affect clone power supplies
-
reflash and the ftp tspanel over. everytime you want a plugin tspanel will tell you how much space you have left. even just a vu solo will give you almost double memory space
-
so do you mean it is working now? if not go to an earlier version of oscam 9040 without the new MHz setting
-
you'll need to flash it again, no memory left. the 800 ids really bad for that when the memorys nearly ful. uninstalling doesn't clear it either it still sees the memory full. DCC also stops working after a while for some reason, just download or extract it again and delete the one you have.
You need at least 5mb of free space left just for the box to operate correctly so pick only the plugins you really need this time or buy a ultimo or the like for more space, it has 500mb instead of 60mb -
you need to add in to the reader section
mhz = 450
cardmhz = 2700 -
I've still got it. tried all available images with the roy backup supposed to be the best however they're all the same. crashes randomly when changing channels. not as if you ask it to multitask when it does it. one of the first boxes to have to picons diplay on the front which was cool.
you can install ipks but only for sh4 boxes -
-
just reflash it with your backup and be done with it, you did back it up right?
-
your problem was the same as mine. ther is a config change to the reader file in the new ocams. that is why it tells you no matching reader, the card is failing to initialise.
Add these two lines to your reader
mhz = 450
cardmhz = 2700 -
i already tried without cacheex but didn't change anything. sometimes they are normal. it just happened after the latest emms it received
-
its on the oscam webif so coming straight from the card. its not the same peers it alternates randomly
-
reflashed with an old image backup from last October with settings that worked at that time and still the same
-
now the times are upto 700ms even from cache
-
I didn't change anything apart from adding a second card albeit for 2 channels and adding a cacheex peer
-
earlier on in the week I added a setanta card which is working great. 2 days ago I was getting a lot of emms and my main *** card updated to the end of march. for the past 2 days I have really high ecms close to 500ms and then back to normal about 150ms. I have changed to oscam 9160 but no difference apart from cacheex is great now. I always used to get ecm at a constant between 120ms to 170ms.
ecms are up and down bouncing around from as low as 1ms when drawing from cache to over 500. my configs are just the bare minimum now to run both cards. I'm running on an uno but thinking about switching to a pc -
just watch when using windows 7 as it wont find the converters. I bought 2 different kinds and tried all kinds of drivers but still nothing

I cant believe it, after all the threads about the Amstrad boxes, why did you leave it in the original box to activate it, all you had to do was leave it in your server
