thanks for the lists
is thre anyway to take away the $ from start of channel names?
ive written you a guide -
I remember reading before that you can take the $ away. Ill have a look around and get back
use the official channel editorhttp://www.mediafire.com/?cf26f8rafdnykya
You need to do a full dump, i.e: firmware and channel list together. When you load this into the channel editor you can edit out the scrambled symbol. You do this by clicking each channel and selecting no for scrambled. When you have them all done save it and upload it back to you're box. Its slow but it can be done. -
Just looked at the site and it says "2011-02-23 19:58:51"
Anyone tested it?
Go on sure, ill be the test pilot lol. ill report backEdit: Its an old firmware lads. Boourns

Hello,
You can verify this.
They say that it is a new software:Download / Software Download_Shenzhen Yojia Technology Co., Ltd.
Did you try it? Id say its an old one man, looking at the file its saying date modified 28/10 -
use "Avs media player player" for viewing and "Avs media converter" for converter in any format you want

SKYBOX%20user%20manual.pdf
It says skybox, its the same thing though -
No probs man, unemployment and minding a 2 year old gives me free time lol
-
Id say the main problem is with flashing the box with dump files that have firmware and channel lists combined. Maybe in future flash the firmware first then load a channel list

Taken from another forum:
I've been in touch with one of the manufactures of the OpenBox, and apparently this can be caused by installing the Firmware, Dump or Misc files incorrectly, if for example you install new firmware or files without first removing the old one, it can on occasions, depending upon the size and file being installed become to large for the allocated space assigned for software updates, and as parts of the previous file was not removed, it will take up a portion of the allotted space required by the new update, as certain elements or parts of the installation can then end up overwriting, and damaging the bootloader, which will then give the Clone error message, as the software has corrupted the bootloader by overflow.
Try contacting your supplier, and see if he can send you a loader and the required bootloader software [most companys have a loader for re-installing the bootloader software, but they prefer not to make them public downloads] and you should be able to fix the problem yourself, that is if it is a bootloader problem.
