Same issue, how do I get the logs for this as I can't FTP?

Oh I didn't even realise/see that, I'll give it a go.
-
Okay to be specific of the issue, I reflashed with the latest release. I installed oscam.5703 and rebooted. I haven't done anything else, upon reboot the issue occurs again.
There are no USBs, all cards are removed, the HDD isn't installed.

ViX-2.4.96

I shall reflash it again and work through it slowly, I'm not too sure what it is as I didn't install any plugins.
-
Well this is odd, I updated and on reboot it started again...
-
I tried to no avail, currently taking the hit and installing the latest image, luckily have my configs which haven't changed much saved.

How do I login with winscp? I've not done a back up in a while, stupid me! :(
-
I got back today and my box was booting up, so it had turned itself off and rebooted. I put the TV on to find it was stuck in a loop where the VIX sign spins for a bit and then disappears and then repeats.
I tried turning it off from the back but this didn't solve the issue.
I then left it off for awhile but still the same.
Any suggestions?

I do run oscam by its own on a VU+ Duo.
oscam.server
Code
Display More[reader] label = ***_card protocol = internal device = /dev/sci1 caid = 0963 services = prembox,FreeSAT,FTV detect = cd mhz = 500 cardmhz = 500 ident = 0963:000000 group = 1 emmcache = 1,3,2 blockemm-unknown = 1 blockemm-g = 1 lb_weight = 101 [reader] label = jsc_card protocol = internal device = /dev/sci0 caid = 0603 force_i***** = 1 boxkey = ################# detect = cd mhz = 600 cardmhz = 600 ident = 0603:000000 group = 2 emmcache = 1,3,2 [reader] label = ###### protocol = cccam device = ######### user = ######### password = ########### services = !jsc1,!jsc2,!prembox reconnecttimeout = 5 group = 3 cccversion = 2.1.1 cccmaxhops = 2 ccckeepalive = 1
All the readers onwards are the same setting.
oscam.conf
Code

All the same onwards again.
Thanks,

Care to expand on this ????????????????
It's so hit and miss.
I prefer ADMC online, cheap and works well.

Done the suggestions but I'm still getting a lot of requests, any other ideas?
-
Has anyone had success with i_***** :confuse:
-
If I do that, then will my peers ever use another reader or just my local?
Edit: sorry for all the posts before, and thanks again for the help.
-
Anyone??? Sorry for reposting but I really need some guidance here on carrying out musogeek's suggestions...
-
Just wanted some guidance on musogeek's suggestions?
-
Also by hop2, I may be mistaken here, I am trying to refer to the local cards I receive from other peers, so I think I mean hop1 (as hop0 is my local?)
-
I wouldn't want that though, I don't mind them using my other peers, I just want to limit the amount of usage. :)
-
Is your ignore reshare setting set to 0 or 1? - what i mean by this is you are receiving hop 2 cards, and a lot of these won't come with a reshare, as most only allow a reshare for just one further hop. If you are ignoring the reshare level then this isn't good because you will put a load on your peers that you shouldn't.
Another thing about Oscam's CCcam protocol is the way it handles requests for any service that has the same CAID and Ident of your local card. If your card hasn't got the entitlements, then it will find another (virtual) reader that has, and this is regardless of reshare leves. Oscam servers using the CCcam protocol should be controlled by using oscam.services, where by you can restrict requests on your server from each peer, so there are no requests for services on your card that your card cannot clear.
Thanks musogeek.
Where do I put the ignore reshare setting? For users at the moment, they are set as follows:
Is that okay?
I'm slightly confused by the 2nd part of your post. How would I restrict requests in this case?
At the moment the only restrictions I have in place are on the readers attempting to clear my local, how do I go further still as you suggest?
This wouldn't create a situation whereby my peers only clear through my locals would it?

Since installing OSCAM, a lot of my peers have been using me for the hop 2 cards I receive.
The load is getting too much, is there a way to set it so say only 3 of my peers at one time can request ECMs from another one of my peers? If that makes any sense...
