i assume the line #DISABLE EMM : yes is the line refering to card update, so as it is # out it is allowing updates. so would it be correct to say that if this line was not in the config file at all then the card should update ok.

just making my own skeleton cccam file with the bare essentials.
can somebody tell me what line / lines i need to put in file to allow sly card to updates ok.

s9 and s10 are the same, never tried a s11 but i would assume that is also ok

just put gigablue 800 hd in google and it came up with a supplier in cologne for €155 (about £140)

is the 2.30 ok to use as i seem to have read somewhere about back doors using this version of cccam.

have been using ubuntu for a while and thought i would give the debian install a try. just wondering are the oscam/cccam config files interchangable or do i have to make new ones for debian?

having trouble getting this reboot to work.
i followed the setting as in the post from ten below, changing only simple schedule to times below.
i click on save and run and although the server goes down to reboot ok it still says no output generated (dont know if this is expected or not)
anyway the result is no scheduled reboot happens.
any ideas please?

thanks ten below, but i had made a spelling mistake, put user instead of usr, sometimes does not matter how many times you look u cannot see the obvious.

just trying to update with the latest oscam file.
after ftp new file to /user/local/bin. i rename the new file as oscam and the old file as oscam.bak
i then put this command in terminal chmod 755 /user/local/bin/oscam and get the message file does not exist.
i assume i am doing something wrong in the command line. can anybody tell me please.

when i read the ecm time at home using cs studio it is around the 170m/s mark. but when i actually read the ecm on the remote dreambox
it is around the 400m/s mark. so which is the true ecm time.

hi just wondering actually how important are the ecm times shown on the clients box.
i have until recently just shared my ubuntu server with sly around my own house with 4 clients.
however now my daughter who lives about 10kms away is on the network
she has ecm times which range between about 200m/s and 450m/s but does not seem to have any glitching/freezing. so just wondering how important it actually is.
the boxes within the house are usually around the 170 - 200 m/s

is it possible to read ecm times using openbox remote?

just wondering if anyone else has had this problems with s9/10.

the freq.11.759 H 29500 shows no signal. (this is for itv 2hd)

I have had this problems with both s9/10 and have had at least 10 boxes and all the same.
i have tried different software/channel lists and creating a new satellite with just the single tx but no luck.
if i swop the box for a dm800 or genuine *** box all is ok.

dont know if it may be pids? is it possible to edit pids on openbox?
any feedback appreciated.
