any idea what i am doing wrong?

i am struggling big time man, i have done every thing as shown i still finding too many error. it is not conecting to me mate.this is the error file.

i am having all sort of problem with omnikey on my ubuntu 10.04 with sly card.can you please tell me the right process plz so it can work.i did try to do in terminal lsusb and then add that device id in oscam.server but it keep showing device not found.

hi, i am new to this casecading stuff, can you please tell me exact what need to add in my oscam.config? and what exact to oscam.user?as i am running sly card.and can i add thim into all my peers oscam.user ?
In my server folder where i have 3 oscam files( conf, server and user) i will create another file oscam.ac and put this lines in:

will this do a job? do this setting efffect on other good peers well?

also do that oscam.ac file need any permition like chmod755?

i have 2 smargo reader and 1 omnikey reader. smargo i think its on 1.4 firmware. but if need then tell me how to check plz

can you write me the process in details so i can locked it ?how can i found the readers version and linux destro? it is ubuntu 10.04 server

any update with omnikey as so was going to run on oscam?

hi, i am facing a strange issue here with usb hub on oscam.every i reboot pc the device id of the usb hub keep changing and that time when device id change oscam d,nt run.
i did not have that issue when i was on cccam server.
its only happening when i am on oscam as i am using 2 cards in usb hub. and i have to use device id in oscam.server to make card run

please any solution?

first of all it was httpallowd = wrong ip been used by me, second double process of cccam and i have add sleep time a bit more
so inrc.local i add

sleep45
then command for cccam
sleep10
then commane for oscam
exit 0

and now i am facing 2 3 issue more which i am ganna figer out with you guys help and once it finish i will post all the detail,s and common probles which any body(new bee) can face.
1- usb 7 port hub is not 100% working as every reboot most of the time it keep changing device ID.and when it cahnge devise then oscam d,nt run.
2-cant make omnikey to run so far.
3-oscam it self d,nt work on openvpn for me so far. cccam server was running perfact on openvpn

now we need to look that mate if we can sort it out.

will all the new version automatically supprt to my card?if not then how can i reverse things?also can we creat any kind of script to update the configs ?

ok, that will update oscam to a newer version.
it also show me to creat a folder as
sudo mkdir /usr/local/bin/oscam_backups
chown scot /usr/local/bin/oscam_backups

then add script to /var/scripts
and chmod 755 to script

i can choos a cron job to run it daily.

now after update the newer one do i need to fill again oscam.server,config and user detail?

my first quiten was if i edit any of oscam file(server,config,user) after altering if i can add the in /var/config can i run config update to make them update with new detail in /usr/local/etc ?

hi, i have install auto install oscam&cccam2.1.3 original written by mr youknowwho.and that installation is included the config update script for cccam.
if i edite my cfg file then normaly i add in /var/config and run a command on terminal to update or itself update every night.
can it possible if some one can write the scritp so with same command i will update oscam, files(oscam.server,oscam.config,oscam.user) with my cccam.cfg.

and also they can be able to update them self every night themself.????????

ok guys this is so far update from me.

on my oscam page which is serverip:8888 i am conecting to my card via 127.0.0.1 and
as i have add N line to my cccam.cfg so it is conected to my server ip which is 192.168.1.2 on cccam info page.

is that sounds good or bad?

also i have add a c line in my cccam.cfg from my other cccam server on same net as

c:cccam-server ip port user pass

now i have reboot the server but when i type oscam server ip:16001

i am conected very good with newcamd
but i am not conecting to my cccam server?

hi, i have installed a ubuntu server addition mate. and normaly i am watching it from another laptop but in same network and i usually type ip of the server and it bring up the detail.
yes it is giving me the detail when i type server ip:8888(oscam info) or even serverip:16001(cccaminfo) but in conection it showing me conected as 127.0.0.1 and i am pretty sure it show you the ip of the server which one we use to do port forword like 192.168.1.31

i have alreadr set static up during the installation of ubuntu.

hi, i have install new server which is working fine but on my webinfo and on cccam info it keep showing me my ip as 127.0.0.1 but my ip is set to 192.168.1.6.
can you tell me please where do i need to change what?

also i like to know if my server making any kind of log file and as it working good i want to disable all the log files so it d,nt fill the hdd of my pc.

i am going to install this version ubuntu-10.04-server-i386 . is that ok?
