I am using vu solo 4k with sat&cable set up from many months and uptill last few days every thing was fine.
I have not change any thing on setting but my cable ( virmin) channels not coming on. only black screen
I have check the tuner set and it is as it was with 40973 frequency
does some one have any kind of issue?
the reason why i need xmbc is that I like to watch 4 to 5 channels which available on xmbc. I do not want entire kodi list etc.....is there any other way to add stream channels to my normal bouquets then ? I am sorry as it is out of topic

currently I am trying to play xmbc on original vu duo but with latest OpenAtv image it is not happening. Unless any pacific backup image from some one already contain this?

Can it possible to add google web stream address for any channel to watch on vu solo 4k?
currently I can watch PTV sports,Geo Sports and others channels on Phone software Mobdro or direct on laptop.
can it possible to add them channels direct to my normal Bouquets channels list so it can be watch through Vu solo 4k any time I like?
If yes then what is the correct way to do that?
I am not fancy to install entire IPTV,XMBC plugin to have un necessary channels on my box which I d,nt watch.
Please advise if possible the way i am thinking?

I have flash the box with old blackhole 1.4.5 and it mount the hard drive. It is very strange though and I do not know why and it can may happens in future too.

I did tried that one via Filezella and Winscp
I can see media/hdd/movie ( its empty as it will not show until it not mount properly )
Until hdd not mount I can not see any files in there and that is normal mate as I have seen this before.
I got Gparted live CD but when I run through my 64bit windows 7 laptop it d,nt give me any graphic option to deal with
I am stuch now and I must have to mount some how and retrive this data. I am 100% sure I have not lost any data as It happend before with me but after couple of time reboot box all went ok but this time Its not.

I have strange problem with mounting my hard drive.
I tried 3 different boxes with openvix,openAtv image.
when i go to device manager i can see my hard drive in device manager and when i mount it as hdd then enigma2 restart but still it do not mount.
My biggest problem is I can not afford to Initialize the hard drive as I have too much important stuff belong to my kids in there which I do not want to loss otherwise it is easy to reformat.
please help me out asap.
Currently I have vu duo 2 and vu solo 4k and both running OpenVix latest image.
My issue is
If a movie start and finish time is 9am to 11am
I have start watching the movie from 9am and at 9:30 I have decided to record the full movie from beginning instead carry on watching
can it possible?
I have tried to rewind the movie with time shift and then press record now but it seems it only start from that time when i press record now and not from beginning.
Sly Original boxes have this function exactly as I have described
can some one tell me please if this can be done ?
or
developer need to look at that function to built in new images.

I am using Vu Solo 4k with uni cable Lnb single wire solution
I have tried openvix , openatv and both do not work great with Uni cable set up. So I been advice by Vu forum to use VTi image which work better with setting Uni cable options on tuner set up

I have used Openatv for almost 2 to 3 years with my last box and work treat.
This VTi image driving my nut.
I do not know how to build as you said. if I know then certainly I do
it also have major issue with Crossepge not working at all too.
Personally I like AutoBouquetsMaker same like vix and openatv image one.
I have no issue when I use openatv,openvix but for some reason I have to use VTi image and my biggest problem is
Crossepg do not work at all on Vti image
Any kind of Autobouquets maker do not work.
I have extract AutoBouquets and Crossepge from working image from every folders include system plugin or extension and from etc or usr folders too
Then I have added them with 755 but it do not work.
when you said Boxtype file, what it is ? where I can found this file?

I always used OpenAtv/Openvix image which have its own AutoBouquetsmaker
can some one please tell me exact AutoBouquetsmaker for this VTi image which work and which can be as same as OpenAtv image?

I have done exact same as you told me last night.
when I record 2 x channels then many channels grey out( not available )
with 2 x permanents tuners how many channels can I record freely( different frequency) while watching one freely
Manufacture said I can record almost 6 to 8 channels with out even any issue but it,s not doing as I am hoping.
Fixed Dual FBC Tuners:
But before we look at that, let’s look at the Dual Fixed FBC tuners. FBC stands for Full Band Capture. This new FBC tuner, will allow you to tune into 4 different frequencies per tuner, which means that you effectively have 8 tuners inside your Solo 4K and if you have the optional twin pluggable tuner installed too, this gives you a total of 10 tuners.
To get the maximum from the Dual FBC tuners you will need to use a Unicable LNB, this means you can choose to view / record 4 different frequencies per tuner, however using a conventional lnb as found on most current satellite dishes around the world, it is still possible to tune to 8 different tv channels, but there are some limitations to which frequency’s you can tune at the same time.
there is no success mate with these funny tuners.
I have set tuner A&B to single.simple, 28.2e
tuner c , d , e , f ,g , h showing not configured
when I leave them alone then I can record more then 2 separate channels.

vu solo 2 4k only support oscam and nothing else as I been told, It also do not support Usb OptiCombo usb C tuner
also where can i get oscam to download for this solo2 4K?
