    I continued and investigated this weekend and the mystery remains. The same server using an identical connection and I get freezes on the DUO2 and no freezes on the Solo. The only difference I can see is that the DUO2 CCCAM is also used to decrypt cable channels using the local card I have. Can this be impacted on the way the EMU handles the C-Line? Should I try another EMU?

    I have at two VU+ boxes:

    My main living room VU+ duo2 with a DVB-s2 and DVB-C tuners. I use one CCCAM emulator both with a c line for sat and my local cable company (card in the card reader).
    My 2nd box - a VU+ solo using CCCAM for sat only with another c-line. Both c-lines are from the same server.
    Both boxes run BH 2.1.5 and are connected over Ethernet to a router which in turn connects to a switch behind my internet cable modem-router.

    The VU+ solo c-line works like a clock with zero issues. On the DUO2 on the other hand I face numerous freezes.

    Is there a way to troubleshoot this? Is it the different setup on the duo2 (sat and cable)? Is it my router behind the duo2?

    Any advice is appreciated.

    I have been looking for sometime for a STB that can be used both for sat TV and double as a streamer/internet box. I currently have in my second TV room (used mainly by my children) a Vu+ Solo box for my sat TV and a Minix Neo X-8h box for streaming TV via a browser (I have a paid sub for a TV service that is delivered via a browser) and XBMC to stream movies from my NAS. I have been looking for sometime for an Android Sat box that replace both boxes, but was deterred by the low quality boxes in the market. The Wetek Play seems to me the first real candidate that has good SW support and decent performance. I still have quite a few questions:

    1. How is DVB S-2 performance, especially when zapping. Is the box stable? Also how well does it handle CCCAM? I am a bit scared to move away from E2 that really excels in this department...
    2. Is it easy to import E2 bouquets and settings?
    3. Can I run a proper web browser on Openelec (in the past I know the answer was no). If not I guess I need to run the stock Android firmware right?
    4. Is there a way to stream DVB-S2 channels to an iPad, the way it can be done with my Vu+ (I use the Blackbox App)?
    5. Will Wetek come soon with a quad core box to match the latest specs on the market?

    Thanks in advance for your feedback :thumb:

    Second post here as I slowly get up to speed on how to use this magnificent machine which is the Vu+
    I have finally got around to setup an internal hard drive which is now working well for time shifting under VTI 6.0. However I still cannot setup full PVR functionality properly. My main two problems are:

    - I cannot get a proper EPG working - channel can only show the current and next program. No way to show a proper EPG
    - I cannot record off the EPG - browse EPG get to the program I want to record and press record.....

    From looking around different forums I see that this is not built into the image directly (is there an image that will do this?). At list in my case running VTI 5 and than 6. I understand I need to use a plugin and force the image to use it as EPG.
    Any link to a guide or useful tips will be appreciated!

    Thanks again for helping a newbie...beer10

    Both have the same Satellites.xml, but there the 28.4e sat has no name:

    </sat>
    <sat name="Sat 28.4 E" flags="0" position="284">
    </sat>
    <sat name="26 Astra/Eutelsat 28.2E" flags="0" position="282">
    <transponder frequency="10714000" symbol_rate="22000000" polarization="0" fec_inner="4" inversion="2" modulation="0" system="0"/>.....

    When I deleted the line <sat name="Sat 28.4 E" flags="0" position="284"> the box stopped working so had to put it back. The Solo2 box with vti 5.0 scans 95% of the British channels correctly at 28.2e while the Solo1 box with VTI 6.0 scans ALL the British channels at 28.4e....

    I have 2 Vu+ boxes at home - a solo2 running vti 5.0 and an older solo box which I have just put back to service after buying a second TV and getting the extra cabling done. On this one I decided to try out the brand new vti 6.0 (great job!).

    Already on the solo2 I had the issue that seems to happen to many Enigma 2 box owners. I setup the tuner to Astra 28.2, but scan comes up with some stations showing 28.4 instead. Since the impacted channels were not that many and I did not get them on my favourites either, I never bothered to look into this any further.

    Last weekend when setting up the Solo, the scan showed all of the Astra 28.2 channels as 28.4. A real bummer as I had to redo my bouquets and I cannot get the picons to work.

    Both boxes have the same settings (I copied then first one's across when setting up the second). After checking in the different forums pointing to the satellite.xml file , I checked mine and indeed, I found there a sat with no name on 28.4, alongside the Astra 28.2 which was fine. I tried to delete the 28.4 sat but when rebooting nothing worked anymore so had to revert to previous file. What I don't understand is:

    - why are the two boxes showing the same channels differently while having the same settings?
    - how can I force them to stop showing channels on 28.4 and revert to 28.2?

    Thanks for your advices!
