Only thing that needs edited is the boxid in oscam.server

Use only the lines posted, remove any existing and...
Do as the master says. :)

Also, change the boxtype to "ipbox" instead of dreambox.

And, if you will not be sharing, you can remove the cccam and newcamd sections...

Tvheadend uses capmt to connect to oscam for "normal" encrypted channels, but must also use stream-relay for powervu channels.

I will post my setup when I get a chance. I don't have much time now, and every time I start, there are changes made to oscam and or tvheadend - hard to work with moving targets. :) But some of the changes (especially tvhedend) are good because they have implemented some of the things I had to patch myself before....

If you want to get started, you can try installing the latest tvheadend and configure it. This tutorial should help with the basic setup: http://linuxsat-support.com/showthread.php?t=78286

Because your box does not support powervu without stream relay. (only dreamboxes for now)
Set "stream_relay_enabled = 1" and use the stream relay if you want to watch powervu channels...

How about separating the sub-forum "Amiko Alien 2 Images E2 & Spark" into three sub-forums?

    1. Amiko Alien 2 E2 Developer Images
    2. Amiko Alien 2 E2 Backup Images
    3. Amiko Alien 2 Spark Firmware

It would make things easier to find...

(and maybe the same for "Amiko Alien SHD 8900" forum....

what oscam emu should I take for my Openbox SX4 HD?

    try sh_4 or sh4

    Code
    Part6:
    build_dir_sh_4 = Octagon, Ipbox, Kathrein, Fortis, Spark-Box (additional with stapi, stapi5_UFS916_0.03, stapi5_UFS916_0.05 and stapi5_OPENBOX_0.05)
build_dir_sh4 = QboxHD, QboxMiniHd, UFS-9XX, Kathrein & Octagon (segfaults on some systems) (additional with stapi, stapi5_UFS916_0.03, stapi5_UFS916_0.05 and stapi5_OPENBOX_0.05)
    build_dir_x86_32 = Linux PC's 32 Bit, Igel
build_dir_x86_32_static = Linux PC's 32 Bit, Igel (static versions - libcrypto, libusb and pcsc static)
build_dir_x86_64 = Linux PC's 64 Bit (additional with dvbapi and libcrypto static for ZOTAC ZBOX ID91 OpenELEC)

HDMU is probably the best, but each image has their pluses and minuses - also a matter of personal taste, so you can try a few. In the images section there are backup images for HDMU and PKT which you may want to try. (A backup image is just that, somebodies backup of an image with popular plugins (like oscam) already installed and configured.)

I think you are not supposed to link to other sites, but there are also sections here on how to setup oscam with various cards/providers and many knowledgeable people if you need help...

Here are some screen shots with various browsers, operating systems.

I guess Blue theme is now Black theme? Otherwise I would have shown the difference's between the old and new...

The old Black theme resized the upper image to fit the window, the new theme doesn't seem to do this properly.

If you make a test theme, I would be happy to, um, test it. :)

11062 is not so old and unless you need something that was changed/fixed in the recent updates, it should be fine.

To upgrade, download version you want and ftp it to the box and replace the existing oscam binary with the new one (keeping the name the same.) The location depends on which image you are using, but probably in "/usr/emu" or "/var/emu" or in some cases "/usr/bin" directory.

While the red is gone (thanks!) the top image is still too big and causing the horizontal scroll-bar to appear. It is a little annoying when writing posts and the horizontal scroll automatically kicks in and scrolls the text right and left.

    What server???

To test if you can make an internet connection to a service, you can always try telnet.

    Code
    telnet <ip address> <port>

Depending on the service, you will probably just get a little garbage and probably disconnected, but it will show you are able to connect to the ip/port in question.

You still haven't told us what you are doing to try and open the ports, only that "it" doesn't work. What ports? How do you know they don't work? Is there actually some service running on the port you are trying to open? If not, even if it is open on the router, it will appear closed.

Did you look at your router and see which ports are open?
If they are complaining about spam emails, then either they are being generated by some stb/computer on your local network, or there is some relay virus on one of your machines which is being used to forward spam.

What did the letters say exactly?

Disabling upnp may stop it, but does not solve where/why it is happening and may cause other programs not to work well.
