No logs, no checking process status after hangs up. Nothing at all!!!

It seems to me that you complain because you like complaying and because I add several new host, but as I wrote previously you can disable host and they will not be loaded to RAM!
If there is problem it can be solved. If the problem is in driver it also can be solved.
But, with person like you which do not want do anything it can't be done.

So the question is whether anyone except you have such problems?

Stability? The problems are increasing since a couple of weeks ago so irrelevant connection. As for size and codecs, I myself said these are two different things. As for logs I said I am not asking for your help as you suggest, I merely reported the change in the plugin in the last few weeks. Lastly I am not unhappy because you added new hosts, as you claim, actually I like new additions.

Finally no need to get personal. I do not know what you mean saying with "person like you" but last time we had sweeping generalisations like that in Europe we ended up with Auschwitz being built to cheering crowds so lets not allow history repeat itself as it seems to be, and generalise groups of people. Everyone is different and you do not know me, nor the other fellow you attacked last month.

Thank you for your reply.

I do use external player with buffering as you advised me about a month ago here. I only use a few of the movies sections which perform best. I actually check movies and very rarely watch a full movie. So in a week I might test about ten or fifteen movies, each for a few minutes. I am not looking for help anyway, just reporting back.

My image's GStreamer is not the new problamtic 1.6.1 or even newer 6.2. It is the reliable v1.6.0.

For the last two weeks or so, the hanging has gotten noticably much more. I have a feeling the sources are being less reliable but I guess the main problem is from the updated codecs. The only way out of hanging streams, not freezes, is if exit button would call a powerful interrupt procedure. But realistically I do not think you can do that effectively. Many people have tried to do that for E2 in various plugins (and even Kodi). but once it hangs on a difficult stream, it usually just hangs, sometimes even powerful telnet commands do not interrupt. Half the time after a few minutes it might return.

So I do not think you can fix that, which is why I did not ask for anything. Realistically as this grows in sections and becomes bigger problems will increase specially due to various codec updates. C'est la vie.

Well like most people I sometimes used the few English channel movies section. For youtube and bbc iplayer I still use TSmedia. The good thing about this was as I said: "small and fast". However in the last week or two, it is hanging e2 more and more and more with the dreaded loading gif time wheel. Sometimes needing telnet e2 restart or hard reset even. Reminds me of when TSmedia started to go downhill. Well no point in repeating those comments, as history repeats itself. I basically use this now for my own iptv links and favourites. Even if becoming like TSmedia, it is still good as the name suggests, IPTV Player.

If I understand you correctly basically switching "OFF" services in:

Configuration: Service Configuration

is basically like removing them for performance and speed after an E2 GUI reboot. That is good news.

For size I assume from what you say that it will depend on the choices. If so, that is also good.

The best thing about this plugin, as with any good coding, is that it is fast and has very good performance. I hope it stays like this with excellent performance.

And of course you added the NOT (!) functionality to iptvplayerwebstreamorder too for the WebStreamsPlayer service which is very useful too.

Thanks for the great ongoing work. Dragon Streams is very good currently on Kodi with many fantastic IPTV links.

Yes I forgot about service configuration method to disable. The ! sends the item to the bottom of the icons for host order, that's why I didn't see it. But disables for web stream order. Interesting. Thanks.

When I try to capture an image of movie in filmovita with horizontal lines in OpenWebif the movie looks OK, but not OK on TV. Most movies in filmovita have problem but some are OK. for example in Main: Heist (2015): Openload.Co. Anyway the movies are also available on the other plugins in IPTV Player. It might be a codec problem with my box. I will download if the movie is only there but they are also in yify filmotopia etc etc. Anyway don't waste your time on this anymore. Thanks.

Please don't change the code to edit and limit links. It will become slower and bigger with every update. The best thing after the sources and very good coding is that it is fast and small.

Secondly, I don't believe in censorship.

If someone wants to censor some section they can add a ! in front of the section name in both:

iptvplayerhostsorder
iptvplayerwebstreamorder

in /etc/enigma2 then it will not show, as you said in post #16 on last page. Instead of one person deciding for everyone else what people can watch or not watch. This way it is free and democratic and up to each person to choose for themselves, not force others according to what he beleives, currently. I never watched those erotic sections, but it is a point of principle of freedom of choice.

Also please don't edit / censor plugin links and categories. Firstly because the size of the plugin grows and it becomes heavier and slower. Also then you become link maker and chooser and editor for each plugin and you become responsible for editing their links. Currently it is just a software and the plugin makers themselves are responsible for the links and categories they choose. It is performing very nice as it is, it's just a software pointing to them and they are responsible for editing their own links in their categories and folders.

1) Filmovita plays many movies with noisy horizontal lines across screen, but same (probably) links play OK in other plugins. Some films play OK in it. The movie player choice does not solve it. Can you check a few films in Filmovita please. I think it might be a small bug.

Hi Sam,

Phoenix is a Kodi addon and was incorporated into TSmedia but 24/7 stopped working in it. It is one of the best Kodi addons. Try it on your Kodi system but don't waste time on it if you are unfamiliar with it. I think the links are dynamic and are difficult. Genesis is another Kodi good addon but I think that is difficult to port too.

There are two other good Kodi addons, SALTS (Stream All The Sources) and TheMuttsNuts. But these are recommendations for your Kodi. The last two are very good and might be easy to port into IPTV Player. But have a look at them on your Kodi.

Have alook on Kodi see if it is not going to take too much of your time to port, they are both good. If it is too much work, don't waste your time on them.

Shoutcast was giving me Green Screen for a couple of years specially on working with search and favorites. But this version I tested this afternoon works well. I attach it as a zip.
The favorites file is automatically created in /etc/engima2/ and called SHOUTcast.favorites.

I wonder if you can create shortcuts in IPTV Player. Like a Windows shortcut. So it launches other plugins outside. But coming back will be difficult after external plugin closes.
I think you are right that shoutcast should be separate. It is already not stable.

Thanks, I upgraded to latest version and can see xbmcmxtv now and tested a few channels. they are working well.
Users please note the working channels are usually at top of each section in xbmcmxtv.
Also you need to upgrade to latrest version as Sam said, upgrade icon is the last one if not automatically upgraded.

Is it possible to add a radio player like winamp or XiiaLive (my favourite android radio app) that can search and play Shoutcast database?
It has hundreds of thousands of radio/audio streams in it's database.
Tunein is mainly using the ubercast engine (mainly US commercial radios) & only some of Shoutcast streams, so not as good as winamp. XiiaLive app has both engines and is the best on android.
I can not see any radio search on IPTV Player for shoutcast or even ubercast.

Is it possible to add a shoutcast searcher? There are over half a million radios/streams in it's search engine.

I don't use or have Proxies. Can you add the link at bottom to: "Web Streams Player" section?

It is updated almost every day with new links. Some English some Spanish. It is the best free IPTV package with many links I found. Working for nearly a year now, before was legit.m3u. Top ones in each section usually work. I use it as my default link for my Kodi boxes in TV/Live Channels section.

Please note if you download the m3u, it is no good as it changes every few days with updated links. Needs new remote live linking in "Web Streams Player" section.

Is it possible to add BBC iPlayer to this plugin? It works from inside TSmedia, current version 10.9.
It was originally a separate plugin developed and changed by others for Enigma2 but it stopped working after BBC changed some protocols and API sets.
The XBMC version was added to TSmedia and still works for me from inside TSmedia.

There was a bug, a channel I saved was storing links from other channel I deleted. I deleted /tmp/ and /IPTVCache files & folders but was still there. I deleted that line in ylist.txt and restarted IPTVPlayer and added the line again. The bug was gone.
