The image normally comes compressed/packed (.rar or .zip format)
You need to extract out the file to load it onto the key.
Winzip, 7zip, winrar should be able to accomplish it.
When asked what directory you would like the extracted file to be placed in, just select your drive key letter.

I think you only need a file on the root of the stick called backupstick (don't think you need a folder, was the case with older versions of pli)
File needs to be extracted out.

Your antivirus may block it as it is an executable file (.exe)

Dvb-C is cable.
Dvb-t/t2 is terrestrial.
I don't think the tuner can run both systems at once (you have to select which system for it to use in tuner configuration)
If your tuner is set to receive dvb-t/t2 tramsmissions then it won't work on dvb-c transmissions unless you change it to that system in tuner configuration (then your saorview will cease to work though unless you have another dvb-t/t2 tuner installed in your receiver)

Just change to a channel on a different satellite to the current satellite your positioned on.
Hopefully, your dish will move to the corresponding satellite to view the channel. (testing the motor setup)
I'd disconnect all peripherals first (hdd, usb keys, card readers etc)
Then format your flashing usb with hp format tool (attached) and extract your image to the key.

I think Honcho means to add bt or other non sly packages onto your multiroom sd card as it will increase the number of sd subscriptions which will make it more difficult for sly to railroad everybody off sd and onto hd. (Am I correct Honcho?)

No, it's optional.
It's just a way of selecting channels you want/have and don't want to share or share.
Really handy if you share with someone who doesn't have a full subscription as you can select the channels you want from him/her.
Are you clearing Itv 2 hd and Itv 3 hd on your current setup?
What way have you crossepg configured?
Are you using a channel list or autobouquets?
Have you a motorised setup or are you just using a fixed dish?
If it is a fixed dish, what satellite are you pointing to?
Also, have you a usd/hdd attached to your receiver and are you writing the epg data to it?
As far as i know, if you pair a white card to a hd receiver, you'll loose premium content (sports/movies)
Have you a service file active / are you blocking itv 4 hd there (50F0)?
Don't have either model box but after a firmware upgrade, all line details may be deleted.
You may have to reboot the receiver after updating firmware/channel lists and re-input your line details then and start your emulator (if that's applicable)
In tuner configuration, make sure the tuner is set up for "dvb-t/t2" reception.
Try scanning or enter your frequency (attached saorview frequencies)

You will have to do this everytime after you run autobouquets though.
Don't think it would be possible as it would need some way of passing the remote commands back to the zgemma.(no ir interface in that modulator)
A tri-link with magic eye has this feature (ir cable supplied) or you could always use your smart phone as a remote (quite a few enigma2 remote apps available)
A ralink rt 5370 usb wifi stick works.
It's only a cable/aerial loop-through (no internal modulator as far as I'm aware)
You'll probably need a modulator (tri-link) connected to the phono outputs to send the picture to another remote tv via rf cable.
I've seen the tm nano 3t in action and the owner of it has had no issues with it (saorview and 28.2 on both sat tuners).
It is also a smaller footprint than the xtrend et 8000 (et8000 can accomodate a 3.5 hdd and psu is inbuilt which has made it quite a sizeable receiver), the et10000 looks like the same size as the et8000.
That said, the xtrend also has great stability and looks like a more polished manufactured receiver.
If I was in your shoes, and didn't mind a sizeable receiver, the xtrend would be my first choice (only my opinion though).
