duo2 is nice to have if you think you'll expand tuners in the future.
Front screen is a bit of a gimmick in my opinion though.
Solo2 is brilliant but limited due to fixed onboard tuners (need usb tuners if you want to expand and good quality ones cost the same/more than modular ones).
I've had a play with the xtrend 8000 and is a great machine also (easily upgradable tuner wise) but no blackhole for anything other than VU.
No experience with the mutant.
Out of the three i've had experience with, I thing the xtrend pips it for me at the moment as the price is very good from our sponsor (currently running vix on my solo2/duo2 anyway so blackhole isn't a must for me anymore, that said, it is nice to have the option to avail of all images.)
The solo2 is better value than the duo2 if your choosing vu brand and are satisfied with two sat tuners. -

I had to search to find this. Can an admin/mod make it a sticky?
Done.
Not before time too.
Thanks for pointing it out.
As I come across relevant threads, I'll apply the same to them. (may take a bit of time though, a lot of relevant info on the site) -

Can I run cccam in this for sports etc?
Oscam on e2 side of it.
@ dale094, Pm sent -
You could try running your satellite feeds further and place the receiver nearer the tv or another option (if you have another e2 receiver laying about) is to use tuner server plugin over your network.

Have you tried using the "autobouquets" plugin on your image (menu-setup-service searching-autobouquets)?
It is a very easy plugin to set up for your desired satellite packages
A tutorial (first draft by pheonix) can be found here- - - Updated - - -
Alternatively you can upload a ready made motor list from catseye/vhannibal/malimali etc.
They can be found here (use dreambox edit or dreamset to load them onto your receiver): -

I'm selling my wetek play (twin dvb-s2 tuner) as I don't have the time nor broadband speed to get the most from it.
It has some surface scratches on the unit but works perfectly.
Included is an Enigma2 rcu (damn thing won't fit into the original box though)
Wetek has been factory reset and request has been sent to de-activate membership account so new user may benefit from membership card.
Looking for £60 (For UK, includes shipping) or €80 (ROI, includes shipping)
Will also consider a swap for a vu zero / tm nano se / mutant hd1200 / miraclebox premium micro (single tuner bedroom receiver)
Payment by paypal (sending money to family/friends option)

let's say it was a little my fault, but the file is still wrong
All these files are for Ferguson Ariva receivers only.
It never states that they are for a starmax or any other make/brand.
