2 things,
1: Most popular high gain lnb's seem to be inverto black or smart titanium.
2: Do NOT use the "require thanks to view" option when asking for support as it will p*ss of people who may be able to offer it.

Removed the "thanks" condition.
You should be able to download it now.

If it between the two you have described above, i'd go for the solo2 (if your budget can stretch that far)
Load of support from virtually all the image teams.
Solo2 specs:

Zgemma 2s specs:

You can use putty to connect by ssh (or use dreambox control center telnet feature)
-
I wouldn't chance it unless you have a laptop/pc with an rs232 connection and a null modem lead as it could give you the "ASH" error.

dos any one know what dvbs2 tc usb tuner works with vu solo 2 running blackhole image thanks
I presume you mean a usb dvb-t2/c tuner?
If so, a sundtek tuner will work.Quote
Also a vu turbo usb tuner will do the job:

Have a look here:

Post 12 has the softcam feeds for atv.
You need to install the mipsel (middle one) version -
You can get the latest image from here:
Just click on your model on the left side of the page.
As for cams, you can get a selection of them from our addons panel. -
You could try to install our addons panel.
It has some popular usb tuner drivers or alternatively try another image.
I think i remember seeing that device driver on the vix feeds (not in front of my receiver now though so can't confirm) -
Oops, Thread closed..
Think about reading the rules while your on holiday:

Bye for now.../..ever. -
You may need to install the driver for your usb tuner.
Have a look in the blackhole feeds for a suitable driver for it.- - - Updated - - -
If it is a sundtek, you could install the sundtek control center:
-
Supreme dark motor is included.

I'm not familiar with a sky box which has recording capability (hd or sd).
I've never had one. -
Haven't the time lately, new family arrival.
I'll sort something out in the next few days. -
Your able to record multiple channels on the same transponder, ie: if they all come in on the same frequency , in the same polorization.
EG: itv london, itv2, itv4,itv4+1 all have a common frequency/polorization (10758v, transponder 44) so technically you could record all these with one feed from your dish.Quote
Now, imagine if you have 4 feeds, you'll be able to record a number of channels on 4 different transponders.
I think a maximum of 16 is only stated due to hdd speed etc but in theory it could be probably more depending on image, speed of receiver and hdd (you may be into ssd's here) but maybe images have it locked to that maximum number.
To be honest, i've never checked exactly how many i could record.
Hope it explains it a little more clearly. -
If they are from the satellite dish, then yes, set both up (may as well get the most out of your receiver, record one channel while watching another..)
Dunno if it will fix your issue though. -
Try setting up the second tuner and switch over your feed.

Has your dish moved?

Or cables become undone, worn, water ingress?
