what is oscam's live log telling you (its a tab you can cllick on on oscam's webif) after you select a few channels your trying to clear.
what package (satellite) are you trying to use.
Post up what you've used as configs already (hash out sensitive info, eg: your line details)
The universal softcam feed? I would think so.
Try installing the universal feed first, you can get it from here:
Openatv 6.0 universal softcam feed
Then, after it's installed,
Plugins menu > green button / download plugins > softcams

You can block caids on oscam by creating a services file, it will look something like this:
[tivusat]
caid = 183d,183E
provid =
srvid =
then enter a service entry in your oscam user file, it will look something like this:
services = !tivusat
the ! is most important as this will block those caids in the service file, without it, oscam will only allow those caids for that user.

Also let everyone know what image your using, it'll help with menu locations etc.
Have you tried setting up your laptop hdd as a network mount on your dm900.
Normally it is in network settings on your image (you can use network browser to find it if it's on your image, should be in network settings).
You should be able to stream from your laptop then (provided your laptop os permits the folders to be shared)
I had a similar experience with a HD combo version a good while back. I had to write an old sw/bootloader to it first, then write the new sw in order to get rid of bootloader mismatch.
I can't remember which sw it was though, if I come across it later, I'll post it up.

I'd also consider putting different readers into different groups if i were you.

What's your signal finder telling you (on affected channels)?
Clock can be either synced from satellite or network I think.
If it's happening on fta channels, looks like a dish alignment issue or something up with your installation.
What's your signal strength/quality on the fta channels that are affected?
Meter / signal finder is in service searching menu on vix, atv may be similar.

Try extracting out the file using winrar / 7zip etc, then send the oscam binary file to usr/bin on your receiver.

I just format a hdd to ext3/4 on my pc before connecting to a receiver , the image then normally mounts it (not tried it on a clone dm though)

Is it a custom list or from a plugin (abm etc)
If you've a lot to move around, I'd suggest e-channelizer.
Use it to drag your list/bouquets from your box, edit accordingly then send it back to your receiver.
I've used it to combine services from different satellites into my standard bouquets (removing those services that are no longer available and adding alternative services from different satellites)
You may wish to disable abm if you use it as it will undo your changes if it runs in its default configuration.
