Hi and sorry for jumping in here with my query, as a 1st timer to oscam i have been doing alot of reading and playing with the configs etc, i now have it running fine but would like the card to update, i have oscam in my pc and my box is a client, Updates are not due until end of jan 2013 but thinking ahead lol.. i knew how to update through cccam but am i right in thinking as Jeffzap very kindly pointed out that

this setting would be set in oscam.server at all times
blockemm-u = 0
blockemm-s = 0
blockemm-g = 1
blockemm-unknown = 1

then change a week or 2 before updates are due to
blockemm-u = 1
blockemm-s = 1
blockemm-g = 1
blockemm-unknown = 1

then once entitlements have updated switch back to the 1st option, Also does the ecm whitelist need to be on or off?

Hi, just a quick question if anyone can offer me a bit of advice. I have the gigablue 800 se hd running vix, i was wondering what the best option would be to share my card with friends. I have cccam 2.2.1. on it and have shared using this with my son, i'm looking at adding around 8 friends. I dern't add any more friends as i don't know if it is safe to use the card in the box with the internal reader, i've read that many horror stories about cards over heating etc. lol

Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, as far as i am aware the one reshare means you can share it on to another client but they cannot share it on from their box; if reshare level said 2 then your clients would be able to share it on once. 14 reshares is the amount of different providers you have to share on; not how many boxes you can share with..

Hi i dont know what i did mate i though i'd solved it but once i rebooted server it is doing the same thing again.

I use one omnikey card reader but have tried nothing at all in the cccam.cfg and it still reboots; that's why i thought it may be the scripts. Bang on the 5 minute mark it reboots every time.

I'll see if i can disable the scripts somehow and see how it goes then.

Edit, i just removed this line as it's the only one that had 5 mins set in it, will let you know how it goes.. (so far Uptime : 00d 00:11:49 )

Hi Ten, thanks for the auto script, got everything up and running fine but the cccam2.1.3 restarts every 5 mins, i think it may be something in the script but dont know were to start i haven't loaded anything into the cccam.cfg, i updated the cccam to 214 to see if the problem was 213 but it still restarts every 5 mins. any idea what i can check within the scripts. Thanks.

Wheyheyyy.. i got cccam 221 working now, i couldn't find it after i'd tried to do it with the java thing, so i ftp'd it into /tmp and went into box to install from memory and it installed it and then it was in the download plugins when i went back to it. Relief lol, cheers mate.

If you go to the satellite list you can add by pressing the green (i think) button, i had to add a sat on mine but not sure if i did a blind scan or manually add the tp's for the channels i wanted.

Sorry i didn't reply mate had to go pick my daughter up, yes i used the cam4me that you posted and the oscam masterg posted, thought i'd neeed oscam to read my card in the box. Missus is watching xfactor on +1 now so i'll have another play about in a bit, i went to the softcam earlier and it shows oscam in there, but i couldn't find cccam on plugins, i also found the oscam folders through the filzilla, so i'll have a look see if i can find the cccam files now i know where to look, thanks for the help so far mate, feel better now i have got the teamred off and can load things now haha.

Lol yeh i did get to try that way, i had to get java then a window popped up, type ip address and it failed..

i have the openmips on now and so far so good, i have managed to get a sgtflipflops channel list to go on it, i got the cccam file you link to and also oscam, then put the ipk folders to usb and managed to load them onto the box, it said they both loaded, now i can find oscam but i'll be beggered if i can find the cccam lol

Is there something missing out of the openvix image file? i managed to flash it with teamred 1st atemp, tried openvix about 30 times but failed miserably everytime, now tried openmips and it has flashed 1st time..

i have noticed that both teamred and openmips have a burn.bat file in the image files, openvix does not, could this be my problem?

Hi mate, how would i go about installing those drivers, not having much luck with this box, tried ftp the extraurl thing following the instuction and even that says it's failed lol

I now have it working, i had to go back to the team red image i tried to load onto it this afternoon, this time it has loaded and now works.. What a relief!!! thank you for all your help mate, i don't think i'll try that flashing malarky again lol

It must of got stuck somehow half way through loading teamred and when it didnt work 1st time i tried to revert it back to vix, which wouldnt work

only way i can turn the box off is by unplugging it from the mains

Yes mate did as you say above, and i've been trying same procedure for hours lol

The box dosn't reboot and i can't turn it off using the remote, only way to switch off is to unplug from mains

Hi i used the one your link sent me too then, i have the vix image in the gigablue folder

Still no joy mate, what ever i try it goes to the same page, on lcd it say boot done at start up then says giga blue, the screen says openvix in black and white, then the screen goes off and lcd starts to count from 1 to 24 then the screan comes back on saying gigablue and teamred underneath, then lcd goes to 25 and screan changes to gigablue with loading underneath, have left it at that for 15mins and it hasn't done anything else
