Ive been trying to connect 3 boxes (all vu duos running VIX images (one as server and 2 as clients) just using oscam. At the moment They run OK with oscam server and cccam as clients
The log in the client says there is no suitable readers found that can be used for decoding. Looking in the posts I cant see what Ive done wrong
Here are is the log and config files

It is a vu duo running oscam 10666.
There are 10 accounts in oscam.user

If the log is showing that readout when the card first starts then there is a problem since the card had been on all day and it suddenly gave the readout half way through the footy match?

Ive been having some freezing problems with my oscam server
The picture freezes for about 25 seconds every hour or so
Very annoying so I monitored the log file and at about the same time it happened I got this printout in the logfile

2017/01/03 22:08:16 75C1D0F0 r (reader) ice [internal] Card type: SYAV

AFAIK I don't have the card SYAV type, and have no credit with a Server and don't know what fusebyte or classD1 are

Ive edited out some info that might be sensitive (sorry if Ive posted this twice)

    What does 75C1D0F0 mean?

    - - - Updated - - -

    What do these fields mean?
I looked on the oscam wiki but couldn't get any info about the log file set up

Open the rc.local file which is in /etc. This should show you where the oscam binary is located.

Or search for it in telnet:

    Code
    find / -name oscam

Did you compile with webif support ?

I know where the binary is (/usr/local/bin) and can see it using flashfxp.
When I run it by going to the directory and typing ./oscam & I just see process is running but there is no screen output and I cant access oscam using webIF (Which was installed with binary)

    You can try

    Code
    netstat -antp |grep oscam

and see if it is listening for connections on port 8888 (or some other port if the default was changed in the conf) What is the logfile set to in oscam.conf? Maybe posting the oscam.conf file would be useful (removing and sensitive info).

    here is oscam.conf

Ive just installed debian 8.6 and then compiled oscam using simplebuild (with pcsc)
I got the oscam binary Ok but not sure where to place it.
At the moment I put the binary in usr/local/bin (chmod 755 and renamed it oscam)
Config files (oscam.server, oscam.conf, oscam .user) are in usr/local/etc
When I try to run oscam ( using ./oscam & command) the file executes but I don't get any startup messages or anything. The PS command shows oscam is running but that's about all.
Also get nothing when I try webif.

At the moment I have a white sly card in a Thompson HD box Which I use in a vu duo oscam server. Sly have said the box will cease on dec 31st for technical reasons and they will swap the box for a sky + HD box. Can I still use the card from the new box? I thought this was not possible due to the new way of box pairing, but reading the forum I see there is a red card which might work.
Can anyone explain the difference between the red and white cards and whether I can get a new system set up when my box stops working.
    Thanks for any help

I seem to be in same position as stones77
I have a Thompson box and a letter from sly saying I have to swap it for a hd + box
Will I be able to use the new card in my duo?
If so what do I need to do?

ive downloaded the script and tried to install on debian 8.6 (Jessie) on a i386 Athlon XP but it hangs. When I go to /emu/oscam to run oscam I get error "while loading shared libraries libssl.0.9.8 "no file or directory
Ive reinstalled debian with different options (ssl server, webserever etc but makes no difference.
    please help

    Thanks for that info.
Ive just got this box and there seems to mainly DE images for it
Can you suggest a better alternative?
I ve seen newenigma, TSimage and dreamboxUK
I also tried an openpli but had problems with it booting

    Hi
Ive just installed a peter pan image (newnigma clone). Its installed autobouquets and crossepg is running and looks OK so far

    Hi
Im just setting up a dm8000 with a dreamelite v3 image
I tried to install tspanel 7.5. It gave a few problems but I finally managed it by installing 6.6 and then updating.
When I try to open the add ons nothing happens. All the other options like devices and info etc appear to be OK
I have reinstalled and installed earlier versions but its the same
    Any body got suggestions?
BTW crossepg is not working also maybe a connection?

    Hi
I came home and found the display with a red light and starting>... screen instead of the usual standby clock.
I rebooted but no difference. After several days of trying to reflash box with images. cfe 3.0 bootloader, and using different usb sticks, Ive run out of ideas.
The box isn't reading the usb port, and using vutils or optiflasher doesn't do anything.
Reading around, I have been told that it could be
    security key
    capacity (c807?)
    power supply

BTW I just realised what may have caused it may have been a power failure while I was out, does this make sense (but there were no relays tripped or anything to suggest this). It was running an openvix 3.0 image at the time

Does anyone have advice on this one, which is best way to check it out etc
    any feedback appreciated
