jsc sports have changed length of ECM

if you are talking about viaccess card

caid is 0500 and ident is 042400 - no change here

this is what you need in oscam.server under your card entry for ecmwhitelist

    Code
    ecmwhitelist = 0500@042400;73,78

When you set up the EPG then I would still suggest the original path - go in to the epg settings and reselect media/usb - may be an idea to delete the existing epg.dat files and a full reboot before trying to load the EPG. Struggling to understand how changing clocks can effect this. I would suggest that you use OpenEPG provider for sly UK as this is more extensive and is not as prone to errors. Rytec has had the odd problem over time but it usually corrects. Also ensure you have an up to date Channel list. Try doing a reboot after the EPG has fully loaded.

These are cheaply made mass produced receivers, and to be honest you would be better off with the scrapheap option in my opinion. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you, but at the same time I would encourage you to take the plunge, fork out a bit more and get an enigma2 based receiver:linuxsat3:

been trying for 2 days gone back to the bbciplayer and itv player the ondemand is a croc of s^&t posts saying for all images and it is not really only for the vix image and to be fair it ain't that good of a image.

think it is a tad out of order to knock images and plugins mate, people spend many long hours trying to get things developed for no payment, just as a labour of love, and to help others - so rather than knock ViX or the plugin, I think it would acheive a lot more by being more clear about the issues you are having. The plugin was developed initially for ViX and others take it on board in order to try to make it work for other images, and this is quite a fresh plugin, so it takes constructive feedback in order to make it better. Your kind of comments won't encourage anyone to spend more time getting it working. The 'devixified' version of the plugins - latest uploaded by Ten Below are here - abdul.jabbar you may like to try these.

which one/s are you trying, what receiver and image, and what is the problem?

I moved abdul.jabbar's original thread to this one as it is where it should be - fcukbcfc I know you already posted in the ViX version of OnDemand help http://linuxsat-support.com/en…-take-2-a.html#post108123
    - maybe you should try the devixified images and see if you have any more joy. People who know might not have answered your query because maybe they had a few other things to do over the easter holiday.

digi247 look here just to rule this out

Lammy if your card is being read in CCcam then it won't be related to the ecm length - and if the supplier has switched you off where there is any evidence of you cardsharing, that is the risk you have taken and will have to live with it i'm afraid! Only solutiin if you are sure all else is ok is to buy another card, and be more careful if you are sharing it.

it does give you the option to select it

if you select single transponder - then set the system to dvb-s2 - set satellite to 13e, and set frequency to 11013, keep inversion at auto - set sybmol rate to 27500, and polarisation to horizontal, FEC to 2/3 and modulation to 8PSK

    DVB-S28PSK

= DVB-S2 is the system and 8PSK is the Modulation.

If this doesn't work there is a problem with your satellites.xml file or your feed.

Once you have done the scan, don't look in the bouquet favourites list - press down then green, look under 13e satellite services and it would be there. You can then add a channel you found in a scan to your bouquets.

ecmwhitelist = 0500@042400:2F,2A is now wrong - lengths have changed - probably causing half the card owners to panic thinking their card has been turned off

ecmwhitelist = 0500@042400:73,78 is now correct.

this is clear in oscam from my card below

    Quote

(0500&042400/0000/20F5/78:51F68791E1CAC39A0030B50194FE67A0): found (254 ms) by jsc

(0500&042400/0000/20F7/73:9D5D63601785DEADBB1E1AD32386FC06): found (233 ms) by jsc

above highlighted red is the new ecm length that should be used in ecmwhitelist.

lammy going by your screenshot you might only be scanning a single transponder.

where it says "type of scan" - select single satellite.
Can you get anything at all HD or just on that transponder?

leaving it overnight might not be enough, you might need to allow more time and have more patience - sly don't seem to broadcast emm's every night and there seems not to be a pattern, maybe there is a reason for that (like they want you to have the card in the original box) - leave it on sly 1 or similar and be patient. TBH a lot of people find it less hassle updating in the original receiver.

got my sea lions sorted and on my vu duo using black hole image and cam 2.2.1 had it working but if i leave it and dnt use it till next day when i turn box back on it doesnt detect anything. Check my relevant files and details are still in there. Any ideas ? thanks in advance

Yes apart from the fact you won't get too much help on here if your problems arise from your receiver being a clone (which consdering it is a clone could be seen as a lot of them) I do recommend you read the rules, paying particular attention to rule 1 and rule 13

    rules

also - add this to the reader entry you have for the card in oscam.server if you are sharing outside your own netword - jsc sports are shutting down cards

    Code
    blockemm-unknown = 1
    blockemm-u = 1
    blockemm-s = 1
    blockemm-g = 1

If you are not sharing externally then you are ok to keep the CCcam version and to not put the above in your configs, and you can also use CCcam protocol to connect to your internal clients.
