If you want to elaborate a bit - what are you aiming to do, what equipment (receiver, PC etc) are you using? If going by a previous thread you are using a payserver, maybe you are wondering how to receive channels without using a payserver? Not sure - I can't work it out from the thread.

Just to remind;
Quote<9> DO NOT post your email address, IP address, DNS address or any private data on the open forum, this is for your own safety.
This isn't limited to the above so also applies to external ports that are not blocked on your router - this can be a security issue - hence why I have 'x'd them out. Internal IP addresses and ports not an issue because they are unique to your own network.

Introductions
Please post an intro as per forum rules.
Thanks -
Bit hard to understand you but just to point out - ANY port from outside the network will not work unless it is forwarded on your router. The external port can be different to the internal port as long as this is defined, and also the IP address (or mac address/host name) needs to be linked to this port. How to do that depends on your router. I can't explain it any more than that, because it is router specific, so I can only try to help you understand the concept - for more info try this link

I am sure this a similar issue as to what you have mentioned before. Please answer this - have you forwarded the appropriate ports on your router to the local IP address of the device you want to access outside your network? If so, have you checked to see if the outside can see it? Please go to
where it says "what port" - input the port you need to access. If it says "error" - then you haven't forwarded the port properly
if it says "Success" then you have. -
omnikeys are fine - they are the cheapest and work well with Oscam. 2A psu is plenty for the two onboard USB ports - if you have no need to expand the amount of ports then you don't need a powered hub. I am using a powered hub on my Raspberry Pi, as this also powers my unit! If you do need more USB ports, then you will need a powered hub.
-
best way is to buy the Raspberry Pi, use the things you have laying around in your pile of gadgets (old charger as power supply etc) - and then source what you need after, that is all part of the fun.

hi - can you access your receiver webinterface on your pc? - also when you go to to your plugins menu, is the Openwebif icon there? - If it is, check it is enabled, and the port is on 80 - streaming port is 8001 - so ensure this is all correct on your android apps as well. If you turn on http anthentication then you also need your receiver username and password. Ensure that the apps are up to date, and also ensure that your device is connecting to your own LAN and not another wireless (neighbour's) point or mobile network.
I am getting the message on the Vu+ app that it isn't connecting, but I am getting the bouquets and it is streaming ok. I recently for some reason also had to select an option to allow streaming from outside the network on the dreamdroid app I think it was, but they are both working fine here.

just right click, create new document and save as oscam.conf, repeat for oscam.user, and then place these in the same folder you have oscam.server
have a look here - might give you an idea as to how an nline should look in oscam.server
http://linuxsat-support.com/os…-oscam-server-config.html
also in oscam.conf you can put this;Code[webif] httpport = 8888 httpuser = user httppwd = pass httprefresh = 10 httpallowed = 127.0.0.1,192.168.0.0-192.168.255.255
this will allow you to access your oscam server webinterface where you can set things up with a web based GUI - from a browser on the same machine127.0.0.1:8888 - then username is user and password is pass
if it is from a different machine on your local network, then instead of 127.0.0.1 - use the local ip address of the server machine (the PC running oscam) - you might need to put exceptions in windows firewall for any ports that need to be accessed.
-
it is impossible for us to know what you have done wrong unless you post your configs - post the entry for the user account you set for your friend, the cline you gave him and also oscam.conf - hashing out anything sensitive.
I assume you have got a dns account - and how have you verified that your port has been forwarded properly?
-
Maybe an idea to post oscam configs - also if it happens after reboot and going by logs it could be that the readers are not being assigned to the right ports - have a look here
http://linuxsat-support.com/li…c-usb-port.html#post27857the above was for smargo but should apply to the omnikey as well

CCcam protocol seems to be better at updating than newcamd. You should get the entitlements if you either set au = 1 or au = {label of card in oscam.server} in your account.
I would suggest to leave it on overnight on a channel that your card decrypts, such as sly 1 - the updates are unpredictable and you need to be patient. If you are not patient then you would get less stress leaving it in a sly box for a couple of days.

Providers tend to concentrate their efforts on those who are running big operations, payservers and possibly large "friends and family" networks. A lot is also being done over time in order to prevent cardsharing at a technical level, especially as the amount of people who are running payservers is increasing. They are protecting their interests, and no one can blame them! Cardsharing is illegal - that is clear as water, so anyone who is doing it potentially runs the risk of being caught, but to put it in to context, peer to peer filesharing is usually illegal as well.
Those who cardshare do so at their own risk. If you don't want to risk being caught, then don't do it.
-
You were already provided with a link to the cardsharing section of this forum in your previous thread, you need to read the stickies in the tutorials section, and get an understanding as to what cardsharing is, and remember that we will not support anyone who is looking to pay someone for the privilige of connecting to their server. Bear in mind the rules of the forum as well;
Quote<13> If you are the supporter of a Pay Server DO NOT ask for support, your request will be ignored.
<14> Card sharing over the Internet is forbidden, do so at your own risk !!!

I wouldn't use 8080 - this is a common http proxy port. No need to use one you have heard of when there are tens of thousands to choose from!

Hi - don't bother reading any manuals you get with the receiver whatever the language, because it is more to do with what image you have running.
1) To change the receiver language, press menu, then select setup, system, language, and choose preferred one.
2) First you need to configure your tuner. This can be done by pressing menu, then select setup, service searching, tuner configuration, then select your tuner. I don't know enough about what type of dish you have to go further than this. You then can to a scan, or better still, download a channel list, which can be done through the plugin feeds (assuming you have the receiver connected to your network) - menu, Plugins, green button, settings
3) you are in Finland, and I don't think you can get nilesat or badr, so your best bet is for arabic channels on 13e - and there are quite a few. -
All posts should be in English, secondly, after using google translate, it is clear you are asking for help in regards to a paid server, so again, please read the rules.

I think you best read the rules.
rulesQuote<1> An Introduction post is required before you start using the forum, requests for support without an Introduction post will be ignored.
<13> If you are the supporter of a Pay Server DO NOT ask for support, your request will be ignored.Your intentions is to pay for a cline - we do not support the use of payservers, infact we are strongly against it, so you best do a bit more reading.
You haven't yet posted an intro either.

any 2.5" SATA internal HDD should do the job - a 1TB drive can be picked up for around 60 quid delivered at the very cheapest if you look around. Sponsor will install one for 80 quid I think, so depends what you want. If you find a cheap one, have a word with the sponsor, he might be able to do you a deal, and bear in mind that he will install it as well - you never know:thumbsup:

Other than that, you helped me out of a tight spot, I meen, all you people doing illegal things with cards that none of you got permission to do and you called it a hobby, well blow me, it's still not legal however you paint it up, crims doing it to there own kind, and that's how the general public like it.
Just to point out that the staff on this forum do not condone cardsharing in any way, and we never have. This forum contains information that is already public knowledge, and how people use that information is up to the individual, and we hold no responsibility for that. The above comment amounts to slander.
Anyway, I think this particular incident has got a bit out of control, and I think any further action should be conducted between yourselves and the authorities if you want to pursue criminal charges against the individual who carried out this fraud. I would not encourage anyone to use the information on this thread to pursue this individual and take the law in to their own hands, rather to use it as a means of identifying the individual in order to pass this on to the police. I think you can see that this man is a criminal and holds no regard for anyone else, so getting involved with any kind of revenge action is probably not the best idea.
To prevent further escalation of this, and in the interests of this forum, I think it is wise to close the thread.
