You have already asked this question - I moved it in to a more appropriate section. Please try to put your questions in a relevant section rather than post everything in general discussion, and don't post the same question multiple times.

It is mostly the conspiracy theorists that don't like CCcam 2.30 but it doesn't hurt to try another one. Backup your CCcam.cfg file, because installing another CCcam version might overwrite this file. Once you have installed another version, it won't overwrite the existing version, but you can choose the one you want in the blue button menu - select softcam manager and then you can disable startup and running of the existing, and enable startup and run the preferred one.
-
There are several people on this thread who have not yet posted an intro - please do so as per forum rules, before taking further part.
thanks

let us know what card you have, and also can you post the CCcam.cfg file (hashing out anything others shouldn't see)
just need this extra info and you will find that it will be easier for someone to help.

You also need the HTTP port forwarded. Go to your plugins menu on your receiver - select OpenWebif - you are trying to stream remotely so i really do recommend you change the Http port to something that isn't 80 - you also need to forward this port on your router to your receiver as well as the streaming port - which also can be changed from 8001 if you want, and again forward this on your router to the receiver IP. You also should enable HTTP Authentication, which will then require you enter your receiver's username and password, which again you should change the password to something that isn't the default one (use telnet on PC, log in, type the 'passwd' command and change here)
Then in your android app - ensure that you use the relevant ports, username and password.
-
so you forwarded the streaming ports, and you are using your dyndns addy or ip address? if all is done correctly then there shouldn't be a problem, have you verified that the ports are open by other means? Also remember the huge amount of bandwidth involved - you may be better off transcoding on your PC - dreamstreamoid is an app i have used where this can be set up with good guides available.

in oscam.user
add this to in oscam.conf
in oscam.server
Code
Display More[reader] label = suk1 protocol = internal device = /dev/sci0 showcls = 0 detect = cd caid = 0963 ident = 0963:000000 mhz = 500 cardmhz = 357 group = 1 emmcache = 1,3,2 blockemm-unknown = 1 blockemm-s = 1 blockemm-g = 1 lb_weight = 101There is no point using oscam.services in the entry for the card, as it only seems to work on virtual card or accounts in oscam.user - the ecmwhitelist is a bit of a mess - I don't bother using it at all, and you shouldn't need to have oscam.services on the oscam.user account for dvbapi either
try what i have put above - nothing added or taken away for each entry - if you want Oscam to update entitlements
You need to be patient and leave on a channel every night one that the card decrypts - sly 1 for example.
as I said if you are not waking up a dead card then just have
in oscam.dvbapi -
"dont change the name of the entry for your card in oscam.server - not needed"
Not sure what you mean by this ??
Quote[Oscam.setrver]
[reader]
label = dvbapi1
description = internal-dvbapi
protocol = internal
device = /dev/sci0You have changed from label = suk1 to above highlighted
dvbapi entry in oscam.conf and relevant account entry in oscam.user should share the same label - but this doesn't have to be the label of the entry for your local card in oscam.server
-
you only need the '1' at the end of the dvbapi file entry unless you have a card that is inactive due to missed updates
P: 0963:000000 1
can be
P: 0963:000000no need for the others for updating the card
dont change the name of the entry for your card in oscam.server - not needed
there may be issuse if you use CCcam and dvbapi together, as your receiver might not use CCcam at all - not sure - never used dvbapi and CCcam together but I am sure others can add to this!
-
I had this prob and was only using clines in my recivers. I believe u need a nline in one of ur recievers to update ur entitlements. Correct me if I'm wrong ppl?
spud312r was using nline - I used dvbapi and oscam alone when I had a sly card in my receiver, but for other cards clines in the receiver was fineThe reason most people can't get their cards to update is that they lack patience:beated:
-
AU = 1 should enable auto update to all cards so should be sufficient, but also as master G said suk1 would work. I noticed that your server is a receiver (rather than PC), so you could use dvbapi - which works well if the card has missed important tier updates. - have a look here;
http://linuxsat-support.com/os…s-dvbapi-oscam-alone.htmlIf I am right from what your logs say you are using mgcamd on your server - so maybe take a look here as well
http://linuxsat-support.com/ca…e-oscam-entitlements.html -
what receiver are you talking about? this is for enigma2 EPG support.
-
Read the rules.
rulesl
and rule 1 - post an intro
introductions -
maybe you should post the your oscam configs hashing out anything sensitive - or we could be here a while!
-
I have got the latest ViX and not seeing this issue. I take it you have verified that there is full EPG data on your Graphical EPG?
-
Best to install Picons on a USB flash drive because you will wake up your HDD every time you change channel or browse the EPG
-
-
non standard propriety 7 day EPGs such as sly uk - no - you can only get now and next. Standard epg formats carried by several European providers - yes you can get full EPG -so depends on what the provider puts out. If you want a receiver with plugins that can do more - get an Enigma based receiever.
-
you don't have to include them at all if they have no values, and they will just revert to default value as documented in the Oscam Wiki
