you can actually access the ViX timers as well by Menu - Timers - Power Timers. Press the green button to add the event. I think this is what you were looking for, or you can use the plugin I mentioned instead. (I should have mentioned this earlier - only I was being blind!)

Go to the plugins menu, and under extensions, download a plugin called 'buyukbangpanel' - and this will give you a Scheduler, and that will allow you to do what you are wanting.

We will be more than happy to answer your questions but you have already been asked before to post an introduction, so can you do that first before we carry on please. Rule number one states that you have to do this or your requests for support will be ignored...
For your ease and benefit I have included a link to the introduction section below
Thanks in advance:thumbsup:

If you are running a USB powered HDD then you are likely to encounter problems if you are using another device on a non powered hub. It is all to do with how much power is required for each device, and things such as TV tuners, 2.5" drives, wifi dongles etc will all take up a lot of power, so I would suggest you use a powered hub as I said before - whether it is mandatory or not is hard to say, you can try, and if you get problems, then use power. I have not had much success with non powered hubs in my Duo unless it was for just a couple of pen drives.
With an external powered drive you might get away with it.

If someone knows the answers to your questions then I am sure you would get help here. 11 cards is excessive and on some forums you would have been banned without even having a chance to answer any questions about it. It is as simple as to say that if you have 11 locals, most people will think you are a payserver. If you are not then don't worry, but also understand that to protect our hobby, we have the need and the right to question your intentions.

It is possible - best to use a powered hub because otherwise you are dividing the power available to your devices, and it might not be enough.
-
Still think 11 cards is way over the top! What plans do you have for your server once you have it configured?
-
are you installing the second one for oe2.0 images?
oe2.0 images and openpli3.0 and vu+ -
thank you ben361 i have done this steps but flame the treath with needless answers is also a part of the rules :tinfoil:
As is not arguing with the forum staff:taxman: -
Linux-PC-Server - look at the tutorials and support sections, there are complete install scripts there - Maybe you could consider using Debian instead of Ubuntu because it has a small footprint and some people have reported problems with omnikeys more so with ubuntu than debian from what I recall. Also look at the cardsharing sections
Cardsharing and the oscam wiki
Oscamwiki -
please post an intro as per forum rules above before asking for further help, and please don't post the same question in multiple sections.
-
Are you using telnet to install, and the -force-overwrite option? This is stated as the way to install.

if you been having these problems for a while maybe it is time to save your CCcam configs and reflash the image and start again, rather that spend forever trying to sort it. Receivers running servers can be sensitive to high use, so maybe you should consider getting a PC server. Again look at the log files as already mentioned, but maybe consider starting again, cut out high usage peers, and see how it goes.

Hi i need a little help in putting sea lions on to cccam 2.1.1 I have a vu + ultimo and have managed put the cccam on the machine but would appreciate some advice as to how to put the sea lions into the cccam. I am new to this so an idiots guide would be most helpful.
Thankyou in advance.
They are acutally called clines - Sea lions are pinnipeds characterized by external ear flaps, long foreflippers, the ability to walk on all fours, and short, thick hair.:Linuxsat frog: -
I once had the Mini version of the Eaglebox, for about 6 weeks! - I would not in any way recommend this receiver, but I can't comment on the ferguson. I know you are thinking about budget, but for the sake of longevity of your interest, I would always suggest paying a bit more and going for an Enigma2 based receiver, which you could get for twice as much as the one you are considering.
Ferguson Ariva 202E HD Digital Satellite Receiver
above is the link to the ferguson 202e from our sponsor, and don't forget to send him a PM if you want a fiver off as well...
or how about this one?

Will i be able to use the same line im using on the f3 ?
ThanksWhy don't you have a word with your payserver?
You have already made it clear you are a payserver supporter in 2 of your threads so I am certainly not wanting to help you do anything with your line - and not sure anyone else will as well.

ok think ive made a balls up. i used the duo bootloader and now the uno does nothing when powered up, just a red light? any ideas?
maybe a visit to the forum sponsor to get yourself a new receiver?

I think they are now making these quick enough to meet demand - I got mine off ebay private seller and paid over the odds for it to avoid the wait while there was a waiting list. wos, hope you are studying the Oscam tutorials and wiki:snicker:

you can't prevent a card updating in a sly box - but you can in a linux box - CCcam and Oscam can block emms.
