you would need to have backed it up already - if you have you may still be able to log in to your receiver - use ftp - see if you can log in - save the image and flash it to USB - if not - just download a clean image - then you should be able to access the saved image from your HDD
in ViX you can adjust the position/overscan in menu - setup - system - user interface - position setup
have a look at your TV settings to see if it is this causing the lack of fit on the screen - my TV has 3 modes - just scan/16:9 and original - I put on just scan - failing this, then go to menu- setup- system- a/v settings 0 and adjust these settings.
Backup in vix is easy
Menu- setup- ViX- backup manager or image manager - in image manager you can back up the whole image - which you can reflash the same as a new image - or choose backup manager to back up your settings - which can be restored to a newly installed image.

sounds like there was an issue with the network, either your router, the connection or the network settings - if you have the issue again then you can check your network -settings - in the system setup - under 'network' you can select device setup, you can check adapter settings - you can make sure your local ip address hasn't changed - if it has then you need to change this on your PC tools (winscp and the windows share to the receiver HDD). Might be an idea to go in to your router settings to fix the IP address to the receiver so it doesn't change. You can do a network test as well under this setting. But rebooting solves a lot of issues!!!
When you get the white card you will probably have to wait a few days for the entitlements to update - a lot of people give up at this stage - as the card will need several updates if it has not been active for a while. You might be better off getting a sly receiver to wake the card up initially, which you can pick up for pennies. Ask yourself is it really worth it, considering you will get only a small amount of extra channels?

As far as I have seen, one reader/cline will work with a two tuner receiver per se, but the server you are connected to, if it is using OScam, could be employing anticascading and this could restrict the amount of allowed requests, therefore, causing problems if you are requesting more ecms than the server permits.
alian you have already been warned about using large font size - please heed any warnings given in future.
TBH when the sponsor is selling a similar receiver brand new with 12 month warranty for a tenner more (and only £5 more with the member discount), I think you may be plotting the price too high.

read above threads - first thread suggests that it will work with meoboot - second give details on how to use meoboot.
if you have as you say in first post, the satstation immage installed you will have to convert the cline to oscam format (very easy) then put it in oscam server file, locate it at var/oscam/conf/oscam server if i remember rightly, to convert the cline read up on the site you got the immage from its all there under sticky in qbox hd mini section
this is true if you use Oscam - but if you are wanting client only, then you can simply put an unedited cline in the radar config and use radar cam, rather than Oscam, as already mentioned here.

sponsor sells both - ask yourself a question - why would the Uno be 70 quid more expensive if it was the lesser receiver? - specs are better, look at the sponsor site for comparison, and the support is great for both.
I have used both - Debian for me - easy to set up - don't need a GUI so it installs in no time over the network, and there are less issues with debian using omnikey readers from what i have read.
Best is to try both - see what you think.

the path is

the .access file should contain username and password as in
user:pass
