hi just curiose , i have 3vu box genuine when i search on dcc ip i get vu zero, vusolo se and the third one witch is vu solo se he show me android?? i don't have any prob alls ok
I have a few boxes on network, all genuine, noticed my solo2 was only showing as box ip, while others identified, checked solo2 and samba panel wasn't running, activated
and it recognised solo2 -
you're right build 3.2 036 has new GST 1.7.1 so they suggested a' minimum of flash & restoreof backup settings'

it may be posting after the fact but have you tried removing the sat cable from the box and then try booting, just incase the lead or a flaw in it is causing box to short out & then reboot?

change the numbering system to SD, rescan & then restart gui/enigma2

one thing, if you are using mgcamd ,it may be causing box to drop connection, if the problem returns & you use mgcamd , connect to box using dcc, usr>keys>mg.cfg
rightclick, then right click on edit, scroll down til you find log function, disable this, you will see toward bottom {02} 127 ... which represents logging to console
change the 1st value to {00} exit and restart the cam -
menu>setup>system>network>ftp setup

look at inverto lnb's inverto quad premium you have 4 ports available, not too dear either, but di a little research yourself too

the boxes are clashing, you are right re the lnb this usually happenns with a genuine skybox & the generic versions on same lnb[ if the same channel polarity is requested by both boxes the copy box loses out. to cure it look a a better lnb, there is a 'fix' sold on a trading site,nothing nore than a piece of coax cable and a diode
to regulate voltage, tbh replacing lnb is by far the better option , also as jokosat has mentioned are you feeding the S11 via loop? this may cause same issue -
if you are using BH 3.0.1 update to latest version 3.0.1 E the earlier versions had connection /lan issues , also as MasterG suggested disabling DHCP and adding ip manually will work too. in network , open adapter settings then turn off DHCP, delete old ip addy,then &assign your self a new ip address

there were issues with earlier versions of bh 3.0.1 some addressed in the latest 3.0.1e, you should have no bother changing from current BH to Vix, did it myself cos fancied change, also using solo2, try factory reset, then reflash with vix

it needs to be pointed out, you can't flash this box via usb.. it's stuck in a boot loop, therefore you can't access box menu as box is constantly booting, try what I suggested earlier, if that doesn't work then get yourself an rs 232 cable look for skybox recovery kit, if there's not one here , google, there is instructions for it's use included in a readme file in most download

before you reflash the box ,try two things , power off the box, remove the sattelite cable from the box, now reboot the box, if the boot loop stops, the cable is causing the loop as it's shorting out box causing restart, check that the outer braid of cable isn't in contact with inner core. The second thing is if your box has external psu, some do some don't, try using another psu as psu failure is a common fault in these type of boxes

also try disabling logging in mg.cfg, also if using BH 3.0.1 check are online updates available for 4k box as there were issues with box losing dns on the regular box 3,0,1 images, which were addressed via online update

To be fair, it is not just about people worrying about losing their long running setup. Certainly there are many people who are just now thinking about getting into this hobby and buying a new box, or adding another box, or upgrading their existing equipment. It is one thing to loose something you have been able to enjoy for years. but quite different to spend a lot of time and money for something only to loose it in days/weeks...

I understand your point, the point I was making was regarding the 'naysayers' some who take pleasure in trollong out the same diatribe over different forums, totally negative, counterproductive, self serving, just clouding the situation even more. TBH screens could go dark any time, the only inescapable fact is that none of us truly know if or when, only SkyI do feel for peeps buying new gear and it becoming redundant, but that risk has always been there with c/s from day one, lomg time ago now, but we're still goingRemember 12monyhs back Italia went dark , red cards were appearing in UK, 'The end was nigh' was the cry but not so, personally I don't like to speculate, best let events run and evaluate situation then

it's same every time something changes, ecm spikes, UK HD shut down, Italia going down for a few days this time last year, it all kicks off, times & dates, I have a friend in Sly,at end of the day only Sly knows the whats & wherefores of the situation, it's pointless tormenting peeps with these 'theories' at every turn, it will affect us all if outcome is bad, best enjoy what we got while it's here, if you live everyday wondering 'Will I die today' one day you'll be right, but wasted a lot of your life worrying
