hello guys,
I am trying to revive my old VU+ solo2
I have installed the latest ATV 7.3
but after rebooting and configuring the box for the first time, right after configuring the internet connection wizard, the flash expander menu doesn't show up
what could be wrong

it appears automatically, you don't have to do anything

you do not need to copy MultiBoot.py to all images, the only problematic ones are VTi or openATV versions 7.1/2/3 with VU DUO 4K
All other ones should work automatically. When you replace the MultiBoot.pyc in other images, the box won't boot, so leave it as it is
it only applies to OATV 7.X for DUO4k ONLY, don't change MultiBooT.py for other images...

I have PLI, VTi, SDG, EGAMI, VIX, and almost all images tested with multiboot and it works fine
there is something you are not doing right?

if you don't want to face more problems then Vu+ boxes are not recommanded.

Another corrected Multiboot.py is attached. This is to be used under OpenATV 7.X for ALL boxes. if VTi is also installed and/or OpenATV 7.X is used on a VU DUO4K/VU DUO 4K SE. Since VTi uses a "bad" /etc/issue, this will otherwise lead to a crash when multibooting under OpenATV 7.X. So this has nothing to do with Neutrino and would also occur with 4 E2 images, the problem is with the VTi image.

I heard the emm data for the cards are updated many times already but now they change it very frequently. So it makes no sense anymore. Only the official solution with CI module or Tivusat STB is reliable. For unofficial grey solution the cards will stop every 2 weeks then update the keys online (no need for sw update anymore. When stb is online the emm data updates automatically) but after short time it will stop again.
