Kudelski are massive and are also the leading company providing security for just about all satellite and catv providers in America and also country's in Europe so nagravision is not just confined to the uk. D+ in Spain use practically the same card as uk virgin media which is very secure using a combination of nagra and seca otherwise known as Merlin which nobody has had any success of dumping...tools used a decade ago are obsolete now with the recent gen cards because there is nothing to base any form of glitching on the cards.

I also have never seen any proof to backup rumours of nds being compromised..only chinese whispers when a provider goes through a card transition...card Transitions for any provider are normal every 5 years or so due to what the governing bodies want but people love to spout crap that the change was due to a hack..

As sync says don't expect your channels to come back on slyuk..i don't think they ever will but because i have not just got into this game it does not phase me because for one its expected and two i also know there are other alternatives at the moment....too many newcomers that have got into this hobby recently that are wasting their time phoning *** putting themselves on the radar pairing thomsons or not accepting an upgrade...and talking about hacks or getting past nds hardware pairing lolzzzz

Maybe the other alternatives are too daunting for noobs as it was too easy to cs 0963 cards...either that or they are at desperation stage because they told all their friends they are geniuses and have a high client base....i,m Actually glad its going off for any of those reasons:)

These 5 channels wont clear in a thomson because those boxes are not compatible with their latest firmware...end result the Thomson box does not understand the new pairing key so it thinks the card does not have the correct id !

Its nothing to do with what boxes are not on slys database...they have changed the way these channels communicate with any official receiver and 3rd party software like oscam for instance does not understand it because their new pairing method is unknown.

Get your heads in order....new pairing method means channels that are paired will stop clearing....*** can switch off any paired channel they wish via 3rd party equipment...you would have to be arrogant to think otherwise.

Not exactly the same format..none of italia,s channels were ever paired unlike the uk where most of the channels are married to one box so be prepared for all the currently paired channels to go.

I don't know what it is you are trying to do exactly by calling *** but you are wasting your time...thomson boxes and sd boxes cannot be upgraded to the latest firmware and because they are changing the way the viewing card is communicating with the receiver the old firmware does not and will not recognize the new pairing method.

You have got that the wrong way round..its the client who will have no choice and either accept the free receiver updated model or cancel their subscription!

You are all putting yourself firmly on the radar anyway phoning up clutching at straws and maybe some peeps have even told the operator they dont want to upgrade from a ****ty old thomson box to a shiny new one..ahem would defo seem odd to me anyway.

Nothing is safe in this hobby...not all sd channels will work in 3rd party equipment...sports and movies sd and hd will eventually go so its the family sd pack that will remain only once they are finished what they are doing unless they change something else.

Well my oscam was reporting found with high ecm times on these channels this morning..it is now stating not found.

Its not the frequencys either iain so abm wont help you.

Crime hd aswell bro.

Noticed this earlier myself..Crime HD also showing a black screen which is not looking too good at all..oscam says its found the channels but black screen shown and ecm times are through the roof.

Too much of a coincidence for me but the first 2 channels that were affected with caid 09CD were Fox crime HD and Nat geo HD

Firstly you have included ports which you did not have to...secondly that is a very strange newcamd deskey you are using.

Can you post this services file you are using for that reader...you appear to be blocking services from this peer and because you only use 3 channels you would have to block everything on 28.2 apart from what you need...arse way round mate.

Your oscam also needs updated i would say.

I updated mine to v006 a few hours ago?

Working fine too btw.

Could be a number of things..bad peer/your current oscam version/your setup.

Need your full configs posted to try and decipher anything tbh//minus any ports used.

You could maybe try deleting the services file used in the meantime.

Use wincsp or filezilla(google both) once installed on your pc open the software and connect to your box//then transfer your ipk files to the tmp folder mate ///then in vix with your remote press the blue button and scroll down to vix /press ok //select first ipk file and hit green or ok and it should install fine...i also would strongly advise against using cccam as a server to read your 0963 card but if you are just trying to get used to things then cccam is a good starting place//with oscam you dont need to enter the boxid.

alom Milamber should still be able to get some joy with the entertainment pack even if his card is currently hardware paired to his official amstrad receiver.

Ps if its cccam/mgcamd or oscam you are trying to install then there is no need for any of the above//all cams are available in the vix addon feeds...menu/plugins/green button to download/navigate to softcams and install what you want.

On those boxes you are best to use a power supply from an old pc monitor if you can find one, especially if you have a hdd connected to the box///12V 4.0a or 5.0a is fine as the box will only take what it needs from the psu and the box will run much smoother.

I can upload a backup from my duo a bit later on with ViX Helios if your stuck. Just let me know if there is any specific cams or plugins you require.

With open pli i dont think its just a case of installing it straight from the pli server..last time i tried ondemand with openpli i gave up because it just simply would not work correctly..i got it working eventually after a few days then it fooked up again so i sacked it..i have a smart tv anyway so no need for the plugin whatsoever.

I think the open pli developers dont really give a hoot about doing anything in the way of fixing it either...if ondemand is a must then i would suggest peeps use another image...blackhole/vix and open atv defo have no probs with the plugin.

Depends on what you want to spend? If you are looking for a twin tuner box then the vu uno is of no use as there is no twin catv module available at this time and there does not appear to be any plans for 1 either,ultimo will take 3 x single catv tuners or the more expensive duo2 will handle 2 x single catv tuners.

I would recommend a Venton HD2 with twin catv tuners,the box is reasonably priced and has great specs...its not as well supported as the Vu range but then again what box is !

There is also the dreambox range: dm800 se or sunray cable version with a single tuner but personally i would prefer the uno over that box if a single tuner is all that is required.

Btw dont expect to put your Virgin card into a linux receiver with a catv tuner and have all channels at your disposal,,no no no...specialist tools and knowledge will be required to get that card going so i would advise that you do some research before committing yourself to a shiny new receiver that will only give you freeview tele basically.
