Hi Jim, unfortunately i live quite a distance from you otherwise i would have sorted this out for you.

Question regarding the multi lnb bar you have bought for your zone 2 dish? sly issue zone 2 dishes will not like lnb bars and i am unsure if there is anything available like that to be ohnest...something i will have to check out the next time i am at my suppliers but i think its highly unlikely.

Was it an engineer that installed what you currently have as it sounds like they were struggling because this bar you have wont fit correctly...did the engineer or person that installed the dish mention anything about that? 13 and 19 are strong satellites so unless there is poor line of sight it must be this multi lnb holder you speak of thats the issue.

1 of your inverto lnbs should be set at 13 east as the main satellite with another offset to the left for 19 east as although as said both are strong satellites 13 east is the weaker of the two..also again you wont be able to fit a standard lnb on a zone 2 dish unless its a really old model and then a slight modification is required.

If you bought the equipment is it possible you can show us a photo of the equipment or a photo of the dish on the wall/and or show us the url for this lnb bar.

Can you also please print here how both of your tuners have been configured.

Whats strange? You cannot expect a 3rd party linux box that is illegally viewing sly channels to be plain sailing all the time and also act in the same way as an official box so its a compromise you are going to have to get used to like the rest of us. If there is a problem with AB atm then a temporary measure would be to find the frequency and manually scan it in/then move it to wherever you want..that way you are not relying on someone posting an upto date list.

I use rats bouquets for boxes on 28.2 and now and again(rarely) there could be a problem with it but you dont see me moaning about it.

First thing i would do is update oscam and reboot your pc although i would also get rid of all the services jargon in the account and test as thats not the correct way to block channels that is not included in your subscription.

this cmds will be used on a process that i will not put in detail here, but in the END of the process the STB ill have generated a 16byte idea key called SK

The Secondary Key pairing method does not always involve pairing keys like the rsa...SK valid cam assumes camid and rsa are correct...rqcs can read your card with the SK method providing you have a valid boxkey!

Mgcamd is the best client reader to use in my opinion(1.35a) i have been using that for around 3 years or whenever it was released....however i have never used oscam as a client reader so i cannot comment on that really..if you are using your box to update card entitlements then definately DO NOT use cccam!

Later versions of Mgcamd were basically patched to read latest caids but i have never required that as yet.

I have an annoying issue concerning the top right hand advertising flickering page that links you direct to the forum sponser...get rid of that please as its annoying and i believe it makes the site look and feel cheap and nasty..you end up having to flick the advert to do certain forum tasks while browsing the site which i think is pointless as we already know who the forum sponser is..cant miss that!

Search function also appears to be pants...sorry for the vague explanation on that one.

Depending on which channel list you are using the epg data might be missing

Well i have a dm500 on test with me just now and i cannot find any lip sync issues whatsoever. If you have upgraded to 15.0b then FastZap should already be set to ON as default so you should not have to mess with any settings, well, its on as default for me.

I,m not sure if its the way you are flashing your box that may be causing this but i only use null/serial and i also run erase.img first to eradicate any possible bugs from previous images.

N line is of course a converted newcamd line for CCcam.cfg

Yer as said thats well overpriced to say the least...total ripoff matey.

What will really get most peoples attention is that this particular ripoff merchant may even receive his zone1/2 dishes for free or they may even be purchased cheap as chips from someone.....i can walk in tomorrow and ask for 20 dishes with no questions asked...as a subbie this type of equipment is not monitored....never has been.

Buy the equipment yourself and install it....its not rocket science..even if the word satellite may sway the typical DIY'er......

Last time i checked in 15.0b the lip sync was fixed in one of the settings so you are correct there.

tarzon fair play to you...i would rather use open pli on any dreambox but i think you will find it hard to compete with what PaphosAL @ co have done with their latest image for dm500/dbox2 boxes..i was never keen on 14.6 and above...however 15.0 caught my interest and is the reason why i have recalled and switched my friends dm500 boxes onto this software..

Hi...i have never had to replace a motherboard on any linux box tbh but i have replaced internal psu,s, replaced boards and fixed caps on many other stbs in the past....what was the reason you replaced this board in the first place? Also how good are your soldering skills? I also actually thought these boxes had easy replaceable tuners but obviously i would be wrong there.

Maybe you should ask who you bought this motherboard from what the situation is...even look into installing a fresh nfi image via null modem...try a different psu also....

Before you go on a rant remember as pheonix says this work is done for free and given to you,might also be an idea to remember your 800hd box is a peice of crap that lacks in memory and other hardware weaknesses...who knows what image you are using and what else you have installed..are you using swap file? Bottom line here is the software is free and it does work so stop your moaning because the problem is your end.
