The xml I messed up was

    cable_uk_virgin.xml

I realised that the true numbers for the Sly Sports active were in the 30s 40s 50s or 60s, ie before 101. However, the original file had it in the 1000s which is an incorrect EPG number.

What I was trying to do was to amend the script so that the Sky Sports aCtives would appear on their true numbers, as well as the BT Sport ones. Also, no radio services appeared above 900, as well as all thed HD channels showing as n/a.

So what I am looking for is a working way of getting the true virgin lcns to appear as an entire list showing ALL numbers including the ones that are hidden.

The file I quoted above all I did was once I replaced it, I rebooted the box and now all I get is the option to scan Freeview, Saorview or Kable NK. There is no settings for cable at all so the program is not reading the cable xml file any more. That is strange. Why is this do yo think?

If you can make it so there are no variables just reading the true LCN list off the air that is all I am tryin to achieve.

Also what on earth has NetID 41017 got to o with the running of the program? That is not one of the ones in the list you can choose from. What is 41017?

And, why do we need whitelists and blacklists? You make it far more complicated than it needs to be. All I need is for the program to read the entire channel list as broadcast by virgin with its actual LCNs showing with all channel names shown also no "<n/a>"s please. That does not tell me the name of the channels.

    Thanks again for your help.

Sorry but I need to wait until I have a blank USB stick before I can do this. Currently I do not have one to do this with. if I remember rightly, the image program has to be the oly file on the stick when you try to flash the box is that right?

Will give it a go when I get a new USB stick. I have limited time currently looking after my father after my mum died last year.

Will let you know. I will try to get it sorted in the next few days. Thanks.

I have been useing Autobouquetsmaker on my Xtrend ET8000 to keep chek on the channel list for cable but over the weekend I had aproblem.

It has never given me the radio channesl for a start, the ones in the 901+ section, but also some channels are missing.

In total there are supposed to be about 417 channels and 38 radio channels, but the total number of services is around 620.

So there are over 200 services missing from the scan. I found the xml file and trried to amend it so that the Sky Sports Interactive channels showed their true LCN rather than numbeers over 1`000. It didn't work.

Instead, it removed them completely, then I could not get the Virgin UK option to appear in the providers list. I had replaced one xml file for an amended one. So now I hve no Virgin UK ABM at all - just Freeview, Kabel NL and Saorview.

How can I get the Cable one back? Do I need to uninstall the current version and reinstall? If so, how do I do this please?

    Thanks.

I think but I cannot be sure that the whitelist is the opposite to a blacklist. A blacklist will stop a service from being opened if it can be, but a whitelist is a list as far as I can remember you can add to to definitely include, providing it works.

If there is no white list, it should do the lot that it can open.

Correct me if I am wrong but I think that is right.

Thanks. BTW which folder do I put the .ipk file into for it to be installed?

Then, where can my individual streams be stored - ie which folder and what should be the name of the file to amend to add strams to?

Thanks - but sorry I have not had rtmp streams owrking before on an Enigma box.

    Thanks.

Your whitelist starts 0963: and not 0960:

Maye that is it as if you are using a red card it will be 0960 not 0963. You have chagned one of them but not your whitelist - although oscam should work normally without a whitelist. Can't be certain if that will work for you but please give it a try.

OK what it appears to be is that the entitlements list is correct except the YEAR.

My card is working again but showing entitlements to 2006 as shown above. It may be that either 2018 is now read by oscam but it is still working - not that you would know it looking at the entitlements list. To get this go to Readers then the green "i" button to show entitlements. Ignore the year field but if the date changes to something later than February, it is still updating but the interface thinks it is showing 2006 instead of 2018. Very odd (reposted on other thread just in case anyone missed this posting. Hope that is OK.

Yes I read that one. Where is the "oscam.server" config? I go onto configs and can't find it. Sorry, or have I looked in the wrong place? Thanks

My HD card has expiry of 19 Feb but in 2006

My card has 0963 protocol. The Xs replace a 6 figure number. Not sure if that is a unique identification so I removed that.

The entitlements are correct though but the date is wrong it would appear.

    Thanks in advance.

I have CARDOK and "no entitlements" showing. I do not have any shares, only my local card setup for oscam. It is a card belonging to an SD box.

It did work late last night but today it is not working. I have put the image back to my last update (when it WAS working), as well as restarting oscam etc.

Before I post the config, what do I have to replace with X?

    Thanks for your help

Strange but my entitlements are showing 2006-02-28 00:00:00.

It is reading the card but showing out of date. Please can you advise how to fix this issue? Do you need config?

I do not know which is which but an SD card with former Sky World and BT Sport has the following. Names are given in brackets where known). If anyone can fill in the gaps please do so. Thanks

I cannot find a proper list of these anywhere. If anyone can help that would be great. Thanks in advance

The SkyQ box ID will I think be the serial number converted to HEX but cannot be sure.

What is certain is that when you have Sky/Q installed, they change the LNB so it is not compatible with anything else. The way Skyq works is to have the entire band of 10.7-12.75GHz horizontal down one feed and 10.7-12.75GHz vertical down the other feed. There is NO 22kHz switch so I very much doubt if any of it would work on an existing setup.

Once you have SkyQ done, I would be interested to know if either of the individual feeds work on a linux box and if they do not, you will need to get your LNB changed again to take both types. There are ways of doing that but the long and short of it is that the SkyQ box works with one type of LNB and everything else works with traditional setup.

    Please keep us posted.

I currently have only 28.2 East showing. I will soon have a second dish pointing at 19.2 East and need to use a separate LNB cable for this. How would I add 192 to my tuner configuration to allow both satellites to work? For example, I could just change the LNB cable but by doing that all the 19.2 channels would show in the 28.2 East folder.

How can I scan 19.2 without mergin the channel list? I am having trouble with the tuner configuration as well as much of the terminology does not make sense to me.

    Thanks for your help.

Hello. Sorry if this is in the wrong forum

But, is it possible to get DAB radio working on an Enigma2 STB? I have an Xtrend ET8000 and a Tehcnomate TM Twin.

The software I want to use is this one

Where would I put this file on my box and would it work? Also, if I do try to install it, will it crash the box and if so, how would I fix it?

    Thanks for your help

Sorry I am lost. I also have a Xtrend ET8000 and cannot find anywhere the folder where all the existing channels and XBMC bouquets are stored.

Where do they store? In the "enigma2" folder I do not have anything except "python" and inside that "Components" "Plugins" "Screens" and "Tools" along wiht other .py files inside the folder.

I used to be able to get into this folder but can't now. Can anyone help please?

    Thanks.
