Did a quick google search there about this,

As long as the HDD from the sly box is a sata drive (it should be) dont see why not, would probably be best to format the sly HDD (fat 32) before fitting it to the dream 800,your box should pick it up straight away then.

    Hope this helps

Sorry didnt see Ten's post on this before i put this one up,i did find one video tut on fitting a HDD into a dream 800,the drive being fitted in this was a 3.5,but there was other search results saying exactly what ten has said.

With the amount of tuts and support on here your going to find it very easy to setup buddy.

Hope you enjoy your Uno when you get it,dont be afraid to try a few different images on it,see which one you like best. The latest BH 1.7.2 is a very stable image for the Vu.

The easiest way to sort this is to install TS panel on your duo, when you have this installed you will see the add ons panel, goto Linux sat support, inside this you will find cams for all images, when you select one it will install it directly onto your duo,to activate the cam press the blue button on the remote, you will see the cams installed on your duo listed, the default one is common, press the arrow button to the right to change it to the cam you have installed from ts panel. When you have selected the new cam press select and it will start it for you.

    Job done!

I changed the image on my Vu from 1.7.1 to 1.7.2 today, you dont notice a big difference straight away, but it is definately the most stable so far,ram is running about 82% and flash is just over the 60% mark.Flash expander is a really good add-on to use with BH.

The one thing you do benifit from when you upgrade or change your image is how to do it,keeps it fresh in your mind about backing up your box and re-loading all your settings.

    Practice makes perfect!!

Just noticed today on your pics that you had run the coaxial through the arm of the dish to the LNB rather than use black tape to attach it to the arm,i like this trick! hadn't even noticed that option on my own set-up.Think i will borrow this idea from you bud,lol

Did anyone else notice a program in BH 1.7.0 green panel called "Genuine Vu Plus"

This feature after you put in the serial number, first two letters then the rest of the numbers and also your email address will "Authenticate" your box and give you better "Support" !!!!!!

I changed the image on My Vu duo today and made a point of checking if the JSC channels were clearing ok for me,i don't have a working card but i do get a share on hop 1 from a original card ,all were working perfectly.

Would anyone have a program that could generate a product key for office 2010?? got a new laptop for Christmas and it has office starter installed, but is asking for the product key to make full use of all the office programs.

Any help would be most appreciated, Cheers

    Hello All,

I've just flashed on the new BH image 1.6.7 onto my Vu+ Duo,for some reason the internal hard drive will not initialize,i keep getting a error message saying "MKFS failed" the hard drive is being recognized ok,have put the error meaage into google and it seems to be a image problem, this drive has workked on all images before i flashed the new one on.Has anyone else had this problem with Bh 1.6.7??

Any help would be really appreciated. Cheers

Hello again Sandman, i think i have found how to disable the extra bar you are seeing, go into BH Main menu, then select Setup, then Setup, when in this menu look for ECM Info, there is a option in this sub menu choose whether you want to show the ecm info on screen, set this to no.

    Hope this works.

    Hi Sandman,

I have this add-on installed but have never seen the extra ugly bar on my channel info screen, if you want to remove it completely,go to TS panel, open Uninstaller, then go to uninstall package, when you open this you should see cccam info in the list, select it and it will be removed from your system.

    Hi Blakie8,

If you are going to use BH 1.6.6 make sure you update the bootloader first before flashing the new image,if you are using a earlier version then you don't need to. There is a thread on here of to update the bootloader.
