    I'm thinking of ordering one of these units... Anyone had any good/bad experiences ordering directly?


    How long does it take to get one and are how much does it cost in total? They are priced at 109.90 EUR. On ebay I can get one for £129 which includes p&p and I get it next day.

  • Vigica C100S with Openelec (Almost Perfect)

    I just came across this thread while Googling and would like to ask if it is relevant to the Vigica C90S....


    I've been using one of these for over a year and am reasonably happy with it, but get a little frustrated with the UI to the TV player. Creating channel lists is very awkward and time consuming. If I manage to install a different TV player, would I be able to estore the original if things went belly up?

    How can I tell if it is included in satellites.xml?


    Or how do I manually enter it into Dreambox Edit?


    BTW how do I make sense of what is included in this file?

    I know a little about Linux, but Enigma is definitely an enigma to me... I presume that it is some distribution of Linux just as Ubuntu or Debian and are all the different images such as BlackHole, OpenPLI etc built on top of the same version of Enigma.. I'm not at all clear just where Enigma ends and BlackHole starts. Running 'uname -a' via ssh I see my STB is running Linux v3.1.1 under mips.

    Can any of the mods or administrators tell me who their target readership for this forum is?


    I am relatively new to STB's but am keen to find out as much as I can. I really like having Linux running on my STB so I imagined that LINUXSAT support would be an ideal place to find out about my new passtime as I run LINUX on a SATellite receiver and am in need of suport....


    But it seems like this support is only provided on specific systems but it doesn't mention anywhere in the rules
    which systems are supported although I'm told that a Vu+ Solo clone which I hsve is not supported

    Can anyone explain to me why I get frequent freezes on certain channels?


    Can I monitor my mgcamd.log to get an indication?
