This is the positioner setup dont change anything there please they look as they should.

Its in the manual scan settings you need to set search options right.

First move your dish to the satellite that have multistream transponder

Then go to Service Search menu >> manual Search

here its importand that you set the frequence to the Multistream transponder

And as system set that to regular DVB S2

all under that can be set to auto should be set to auto

even if you have all settings use auto where ever thats an option.

Then do an manual scan and see if yuo cant find the right channels and they should work fine with you Duo 4K

If still no channels do the same again just change network search to YES.

Most likley your old image was smaller in size then the newer modern images

so after a few days you dont have any more free space.

I recommend that you mount an USB Memorystick to your DM and then

install flashexpander plugin.

Or even better flash an image with multiboot option and install that image plain

no setup, channels, sofcams and plugin.

Only mount the USB Memorystick and activate multiboot plugin

then install any image in multiboot and you have all the space you ever need.

What image that have multiboot i am not sure about. But the Blackhole 4.0 should have it.

How do you setup your scan settings?

Yes the name of the Tuner is DVB-S2X but to search and get the right settings you need to use this settings

tune a DVB-S2X transponder using DVB-S2, and set Fec and other settings to auto

Then you are sure you at least have the right scanned settings

I also know Vu+ have some drivers update are on the way

But with the OI 3.0 (Vu+ crapp stock image) this is working

according to Vu+ support

I was thinking that the Lightbulb for Xenon light has its own reflector and since we drive on the right ;) side of the road our bulbs

reflect the light to the right.

But when driving in UK they drive on the wrong side of the road ;) (Leftside) and therfore the UK bulbs reflect the light to the left.

I read somewhere that if we go to UK we need to switch the expensive Xenon light bulb when comming to UK.

I am no expert so maybe some of the UK dudes here at the forum can correct me if i am wrong?

You need to connect with an App named Putty to open a Telnet connection to your DM800SE

If you dont have Putty i have attached it to this comment.

1. Download and extract attached file

2. Run Putty installer

3. Open Putty and enter your DM800SE IP Adress, Username (root) and password (dreambox)

4. type cd /tmp and press enter button on your keyboard

5. Copy this text line wget http://jam.japhar.com/download/addons/Japhar-addons-manager_5.2_DM_oe20_mips32el.ipk
Now inside the Putty window click with your right mouse button and the text line appear
Press enter button on your keyboard and wait until command is done.

6. Now copy this text opkg install --force-overwrite *.ipk

Do the same, click with right mouse button inside the putty window and press enter button on your keyboard

and wait for command to finnish

7. Now close Putty window by typing exit and press enter button

8. Restart Enigma2 (Restart GUI)

And all is done and you have this nice plugin installed :)

I have a working Sky card but have not used it for some years since i have no antenna pointing at that direction

Jupp i am no fan of clones in general for me its like buying a Brand New Chevy and come home and open and find out its some

crappy China made engine inside.

I cant say nothing about the sim you provide but still its a cheap clone with second edition hardware

that needs special hacked images to work.

I can see that people are not showling money around like its snow so of cause price is a factor

Where clones usally are cheaper then the real deal. But if people look around and maybe

take a tripp in to world of satellites they will find many good STBs that are not clone to a good price and even some cheaper then clones.

But this guy have a black screen tonight and if you have not uploaded the JapharFlasher tool yet i hope you do so.

So he can try and see if that fixes the box for him and maybe upload a good image so he want flash the wrong one again :)

In the end we have some diffrent views but i do value your help and for taking time and help

this guy :)

To me it dos not matter who is right and who wrong i just want the guy to get his box up and running so lets see what sim he might have.

But if he have another Clone crapp there must be som CA fix for them also?

Since you are reprecenting Japhar Ferrari TEAM cant you just upload your CA fix and he can try with that?

If he have A8P sim he just can use DM orginal Image and al will be fixed

I know a lot of Sunrays have the SimCard filled over with Glue like the Original DM and to ask someone

to take appart and maybe destroy his box must be the last resort.

emosim have a look ate screenshot in post 48 and you see the Sim 2.10 logo so he have that sim.

Yes they also get shipped with the A8P sim but they show the original LCD DM logo

Dont now about japhar or Ferrari but guessing they also have their own LCD boot logo ;)

I have asj\ked about a step by step guid on to how his doing it since i suspect strongly his

turning on the power before the program ask for it and if he do that no CA fix will be written to the box :)
